I wore the Guerlain L’Essential yesterday and I still LOVE it! I think I want to finish it up before buying another foundation. I just tried the new Laura Mercier - LOVE and purchased the Burberry, so I am good for awhile! It looks pretty on you even though it is a bit dark.

I would agree with that 100%. It is absolutely gorgeous and will be perfect for summer.
Wow, only 6 months shelf life for the luminating powder? Or is it after opening the product? Still very short imo. Even mascaras have 6 months of safe use recommended. Powders usually have at least 12 months so this is a bummer. On a different note, I had the now discontinued Illuminating pen and it was gorgeous. I hope this one makes up for it. Thank you for this review. I really appreciate it as the product is pretty new and nobody else reviewed it yet.
Mine arrives tomorrow! This will be my first Guerlain foundation as I normally buy Chanel foundation. Cannot wait to try it!

I really like the Parure Gold Matte but it’s a pain to have to order it from overseas. I would love to see a comparison of the two foundations and to hear your thoughts. The Luminizer is lovely 🥰
I have two Guerlain foundation sticks I purchased back in 2019. I remember getting the medium shade first, since it was summer and I was a bit bronzier. The medium was so dark! So I went and ordered the light shade and it was too light! Lol. So I kept the two and just make stripes on my face of each and blend it in. Guerlain’s foundation shades are something else. Lol

Hi, any chance that you'll could compare the 2 Guerlain foundations in a wear test? I am a 1.5n in gold matte, not sure about shade in terracotta. Thk you!
Yes, I will be comparing them soon. I can say that the Parure Gold Foundation and the new Terracotta Foundation feel very similar. But I will do a wear test soon.
I think this foundation runs warm. I'm usually a neutral, but my best match was 1C. I'm not usually cool, but this one works best for me.
I think so too. This shade was definitely not the right color for me now, but I am hopeful it will work this summer.
What’s your usual shade, unable to find the one you listed in the info for this product. I’m wondering if I need to go lighter than what I was planning. I was going to order 2W, now I’m not sure.
The Shade 2N works great for me right now. It's what I have in the other 2 foundations. I have updated the link so hopefully that helps.

Beautiful!! Your skin looks lit from within. Personally, I much prefer this kind of luminized look. Highlighters are pretty, but can rapidly become way too obvious on the skin IMO.
This foundation oxidizes like crazy, one full shade at least. So make sure you get at least one shade lighter.
