Hi Sandi, I love a creamy texture to perfumes too. I bought a bottle of Narciso Poudree back in 2020 when I was first getting into perfumery on this hobby “Collection” level and at the time I ended up returning it. I don’t remember now what it smelled like, but I think my nose just didn’t “get it” and couldn’t sort out what I was smelling. I’ve been wanting to revisit it because on paper I should love It and I think my nose has gotten a little more discerning than it was. It’s been discontinued for a while and I keep expecting the price to start increasing. Have you ever tried the NR Rouge? It’s another one in that line that I’ve been wanting to experience. A few fragrances in my collection that have a noteworthy creaminess are Bo by Liis - a beautiful creamy woody scent and Parisian Musc by Matiere Premiere, another creamy cedar, lactonic musk scent with a hit of fig. There is an elegance to how the perfumers have done the woods and musk in both of these fragrances that I really love, but I think it’s the creaminess that elevates them and why I find them so chic.
@@yanah.965 I actually have Narciso rouge! To my nose, it reads more powdery than creamy. It’s nice! I feel like I felt the same about Poudree-that it was powdery and pretty sweet!! I want to smell Bo by Liis. I know I’ve smelled one Liis scent that was a musky pear and very nice. Thanks for your thoughts!!
Hi Sandy, thanks for the video! I really like creamy perfumes as well, especially with sandalwood or lactonic notes. De Los Santos is beautiful! Another one by Byredo which also is kind of creamy but in a different way, fruity and alcoholic, is Eleventh Hour - have you tried that one?
@@desize1996 I LOVE de los Santos so much. I’ve never tried Eleventh Hour. My exposure to Byredo scents has been really limited. I need to find a store with the line so I can sniff in person.
Hi Sandi 😊 you are speaking and sharing my favorite category in fragrances! You reminded me that I need a new bottle of Mont Blanc 😉
@@sunnyscents1818 I love creamy scents too!!!!!
