So glad to see gator looking and sounding great. I always did sound systems all my life(60). I’ve got terrible hearing because of it. I’d have so much fun pulling up beside folks who thought they had great systems. I’d pull up and blast my Christian hard rock and show them what a crazy system really sounded like. Last system had some crazy SPL subs and running 4000 rms sub amps.
Never worry about your content. I can see, everyone else should be able to see, how much this project means go both of you. Be proud of what you have achieved with "Gator", your cousin would be proud and will be with you everytime you think of Gator. I am an audiophile, so I get the love of sound systems. Please remember that most of us do not want to hear your music, so rock on when you are alone but remember noise pollution is a thing. Headphones work really well for personal music.

I bet it would be truly insane if yiu could custom fit front and back door card speaker system. Front for Tweeter and high range, door card set up mid range, back as it is Sub set up. Maybe with 2 x 2 way Competition midrange speakers with 200watt sweaters. However as a suggestion, but if you don't already know. there is a place in Hudson Fl, called (Predator Inc.) they do nothing but restoring & customizing, for Hummers H1-2 etc. they do interior exterior engine work, engine swapes, rebuilds, and custom motor work. Just an FYI if you have ever herd of the UA-cam channel (Demolition Ranch) Matt took a H1 to shot full of holes, to Predator Inc and wow it is sick!

Thats a really cool vehicle! I appreciate the fact that you restored the Hummer in memory of your cousin. When my father passed away almost 30 years ago, my mother gifted me my dad's 1986 Dodge B150 van. I totally restored the old van some years later both mechanically and cosmetically and I still have it to this day. My son will inherit his grandpa's 1986 van from me when I'm gone, and he has promised me that he will keep it going for his lifetime too. I love it!
For a tender, I would go with the Willams Dieseljet 505, plumb a nozzle from the boat fuel tanks to the boat deck for easy refueling and name it "GATOR"
I have NEVER seen Rico Rox smile so much - not even when the engines went in! DJ'ing in the car. You had a Golf - my first new car was a first production year VW Golf (Rabbit in the U.S.), which I added a Sony 8Watt cassette player to, along with a 6x9 dual Jensen speaker system - state of the art back in the early 70's. It survived 38,000 miles of travel in the first year, and contributed greatly to my need for hearing aids (playing in an Electric Blues band takes the rest of the responsibility). I've heard Costco has the best deals on hearing aids - keep it in mind Rico! Glad to see Gator up and running proud.

I love Gator. What an incredible job. Projects like this can easily go overboard. The upgrades fit the Hummer as a brand. The interior is beautiful and tasteful. Rico you made perfect choices on your sound system. I had a sound system in high school was so much fun. You found your balance of great sound and not going over the top. I love doing my own little colour coded aesthetical touches. So nice seeing yours. Did you sound proof the car to ease vibration.
I bet it would be truly insane if yiu could custom fit front and back door card speaker system. Front for Tweeter and high range, door card set up mid range, back as it is Sub set up. Maybe with 2 x 2 way Competition midrange speakers with 200watt sweaters. Giving an even more crisp, low deep base sound etc. The Oak Green Golf listed below had my competition 3500 watt sound system, The concrete 50ft away from the car vibrated with nice Reggae and Hip Hop base.
Of course I'm not in your league. I've only had 35 cars since driving. As you know my favs are my 7 VW Golf Gtis, 9 Bmws, 1 Audi, even my 2nd brand new and current mobility Vauxhall Mokka is one of my favs.
My absolute favs are:
1: 2008 Black E92 (Coupe) Msport, Bmw 335i stage 1 370bhp 500nm 0 to 60 in 4.4 secs. 1800watt Sound System.
2: 1984 A Reg Black Campaign Mk 1 Golf Gti (Totally original spec). 1200 watt sound system.

4: 1991 Oak Green Mk 2 Golf Gti 8v, 3500 watt competition reference sound system.
5: 2002 Red VR5 2.3 170bhp Mk 4 Golf Gti, 2 door hatch, 1200 watt sound system.
6: 1982 Project Mk 1 Golf Gti 1.6 conversion to 1.8i full Zender blended body out, Rare 15" OZ Split rim alloys. 2500 watt competition sound system.
7: 1990 Monza Blue 2ltr racing 16v mk 2 Golf gti, 165bhp, 1800watt sound system
8: 2007 Bmw E93 (Convertible) 335i stage 1 370bhp 500nm 0 to 60 in 4.8secs, le man's blue, 800watts sound system.
9: 2006 Audi A4 B7 3.2 Sline Convertible 254 bhp, blue. 800 watts sound system.
10: 2005 facelift Bmw E60 (Saloon) 530i 258bhp, Space Grey/Silver, 19" BBS LM Alloys, 1000 watts sound system.
My other favs all equal 11th.
The rest of the 35 were nice, cheap run arounds, bargain, 3 x jonah bad cars lol.

@NautiGuys Personally I love the H1 Hummer, and I have to admit to my jealousy! However as a suggestion, but if you don't already know. there is a place in Hudson Fl, called (Predator Inc.) they do nothing but restoring & customizing, for Hummers H1-2 etc. they do interior exterior engine work, engine swapes, rebuilds, and custom motor work. Just an FYI if you have ever herd of the UA-cam channel (Demolition Ranch) Matt took a H1 to shot full of holes, to Predator Inc and wow it is sick!

When my father passed away almost 30 years ago, my mother gifted me my dad's 1986 Dodge B150 van. I totally restored the old van some years later both mechanically and cosmetically and I still have it to this day.
My son will inherit his grandpa's 1986 van from me when I'm gone, and he has promised me that he will keep it going for his lifetime too. I love it!

For a tender, I would go with the Willams Dieseljet 505, plumb a nozzle from the boat fuel tanks to the boat deck for easy refueling and name it "GATOR"

I have NEVER seen Rico Rox smile so much - not even when the engines went in! DJ'ing in the car. You had a Golf - my first new car was a first production year VW Golf (Rabbit in the U.S.), which I added a Sony 8Watt cassette player to, along with a 6x9 dual Jensen speaker system - state of the art back in the early 70's. It survived 38,000 miles of travel in the first year, and contributed greatly to my need for hearing aids (playing in an Electric Blues band takes the rest of the responsibility). I've heard Costco has the best deals on hearing aids - keep it in mind Rico! Glad to see Gator up and running proud.

Beautiful 4 man Am General Hummer. I love mine, but they literally cost as much as a boat to maintain. Enjoy! Your cousin will be proud. Just be careful if you off road it, those rims are not rated for the weight of these trucks.
