I've been painting my copy of Bloodrage recently. This model has been one of my favorites to paint so far. Nice video, and the new thumbnails for all the videos look great!
Excellent tutorial! Love all your Blood Rage videos, a great help for painting up the minis. I'm not entirely convinced about the yellowed teeth for the sea serpent, however. After all it does live in the sea (as its name suggests), and salt water naturally whitens teeth. Of course one could argue that the sea serpent is very old, and the yellow teeth are a sign of its age. Or maybe it just smokes too many cigarettes…..
hahaha smoking sea serpent hahaha never would have thought of that! Next time I paint some sort of sea monster I'll keep these comments in mind when painting their teeth :D
That looks great! I'm tempted to go with a great White shark or orca scheme with mine - dark on top, light underneath, but a bit scared to go for such a contrasting scheme without any guide lines on the model. Hoping zenithal priming will help. Fingers crossed! Will definitely use your technique for blending in the tentacles. Looks really neat
Great job. When I go to do mine, I think will will go with a different mouth color. The red look is too much for me. Maybe a dark blue green then lightened up with a blackish tongue. I see it living deep in the ocean with no light. The red gives it a human touch. Really enjoyed the video.
This is like the first vídeo on this mini I´ve seen. There was nothing relevant about it! Great Job! I´ve never seen anything on the Zombicide BP´s Ablobination either if your fishing for unique ideas.
Glad you liked it! I noticed there were a lot of games which were in the best case only sparsely covered in painting tutorials. This was a big reason I decided that a large focus of my channel would be on creating painting tutorials covering complete board game sets. Ah yes the Ablobination - The neglected one haha I've been thinking about which game to paint after I finish Blood Rage and Zombicide BP is definitely in the runnings. If I end up going that route, the ablobination will definitely get included - maybe even be one of the first episodes!
I know what you mean. It´s just that some characters like the flame and frost giants and the troll were covered by a great amount of painters out there. And they did a great job! But the Sea Serpent... everybody forgot about it! hahah
Jeff Haubrich That's the plan! The Blood Rage series will be the first complete box series so you can expect to see a tutorial for each clan and each monster in the core box. The Bear Clan is up next!
First video viewed - enjoyed it very much and looking forward to seeing the rest (in the fulness of time) Keep going! and thanks!

Thanks!
This is super impressive.
Love it
Do you think the lower body and water might benefit from gloss or semigloss varnish brushed on?

Paul Wright That'd look awesome! You should do it! Would love to see it when you're finished!
