question. at 2:45, you hit the white button with button 6 activated, leading to the "browse: patch" option. only then to deactivate button 6 (now button 1A is activated), to immediately reactivate the white button with button 6 flashing to the beat. this gives you your "browse: sequence" option. ... all of this to ask, how do you get to "browse: sequence"? i have a similar synth, it looks exactly like yours but with different colors. the circuit board, buttons, knobs, and display are all the same as mine, but i cant seem to find a way to access "browse: sequence". are you aware of any reason this could be? or any steps i have not taken correctly?
Useless video for me mine acts completely different,,no matter what i try i cannot get a sound out or it without a keyboard and i cannot get the sequencer to work at all,,i don't think i have one on mine,,,gutted,,probably gonna sell..its useless to me.
I know your comment is two years old, but figured I’d ask anyway in case you still have your shruthi - what is your “midi out” mode set to? if it’s set to any of the polychaining modes such as “1>|” “2>1” etc, the manual says that the arpeggiator and sequencer won’t work. hopefully setting to off/thru/seq/ctrl/full would do the trick. also, the “Mod” param in the seq/arp page should be set to “seq”, and you can start playback without a keyboard by pressing in the encoder for 1 second. “Let’s jam” will appear and you can set the root note of the sequence, and holding the encoder for another 1sec will turn jam mode off. hope this helps!
@@ivybasement Wow,,like thanks,,i still have my Shruthi,,,use it for drones and stuff,,but i will try this when back in the lab,,thanks for your reply..
@@ivybasement pressing the encoder makes the sequencer active? In the video it seems that this happen but pressing button1... Is this down to the firmware version? It happens that my one doesn't runs the splash screen when switching on even I set it up as such.... Any ideas? Thanks in advanced :) I just purchased a second one and trying to push it to its limits xD
Lol @ 3:18 how random is that. It's the ARP2600 sequence from an early Depeche Mode song called *See You*. Great tune actually, in its original form.
IMO rising action starts at 3:09! amazing

Sounds very Ensoniq like, i like it...
How are you triggering the sound,? I see no keyboard connected.
It's got a built in sequencer :)
Selecting sequences not working in 1.03 firmware
Is that an oled or lcd display?
Allright, that's it, I need to buy one and declare war on my ESQ-1!
Korgasm :-)
it's like Lego synthesizers...
