    “As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a pretend gangster. To me, being a pretend gangster was better than being President of the United States. Even before I first wandered onto UA-cam for an afterschool job I knew I wanted to be a part of them. It was there that I knew that I belonged. To me, it meant being somebody in the platform that was full of nobodies. They weren’t like anybody else. I mean, they did whatever they wanted. They double posted the same bullshit story and nobody ever flagged them. Tuddy Alite, Tuddy. Tuddy ran the UA-cam Channel in La Bella Vista Pizzeria and a few other places for his brother John who was the boss over everybody in the neighborhood. John might have moved slow, but it was only because he didn’t have to move for anybody….
    You know, we always called each other story tellas. Like you said to, uh, somebody, 'You're gonna like this guy. He's all right. He's a storytella. He's one of us.' You understand? We were storytellas. Wannabe wiseguys.”

    • @StuUngar
      @StuUngar 3 роки тому +9

      @@t0xicmaster166 I dont believe that he was killed by Jimmy Burke. Everyone around said that Jimmy Burke was the only thing that kept him alive.
      Paul Vario supposedly didnt like Tommy DeSimone, but Burke was his biggest earner and treated DeSimone like a son. So Vario protected Tommy. However, everyone and their mother knew that Gotti and Tommy didnt like each other. Sal Polisi told a story that they had met up in one of Burke’s warehouses to split a load of suits. As theyre picking out what they want, Tommy picks out a $1,000 suit. Gotti walks up with a pair of scissors and cuts the suit to shreds, threw the material at Tommy’s feet, then said, “I have a suit just like it. No one dresses like John Gotti.” Then Gotti walks away while everyone is laughing.
      Polisi said Tommy’s face turned beet red and Tommy had his hand on his pistol. He said he could read Burkes mouth as he whispered to DeSimome, “Dont you fucking do it.” Polisi said that Tommy had a hair trigger and was convinced that he wouldve shot Gotti then and there if Gotti weren’t a made guy and there weren’t several witnesses.
      But way Burke treated Tommy like a son, or a kid brother, Gotti also treated a hijacker named Fox Jerothe the same. Polisi, Jerothe, and DeSimone were all a part of a hijacking crew. Jerothe and DeSimone started butting heads. Jerothe was a ladies man and he liked romancing women. DeSimone preferred shoving his d’ in, having his fun and being done with it.
      Polisi said, “In other words, Jerothe saw Tommy as a pig, and Tommy saw Fox as a puh-c.”
      Fast forward, Jerothe’s kid sister, whom Fox doted on and was extremely protective of, started dating Tommy. One night, Tommy beats the crap out of Fox’s sister.
      Even before then, Tommy would supposedly make wise cracks about Jerothe’s sister and Fox would reply, “In your dreams Tommy. My sister would never get mixed up with a slob like you.”
      When Tommy beat her, story goes that an enraged Jerothe went to all of the Lucchese hangouts looking for Tommy and announcing to everyone that he was going to beat the sh’ out of Tommy when he found him.
      Tommy eventually caught wind that Jerothe was looking for him. Tommy went to the sisters house and knocked on the door. Fox opened the door, saw Tommy and cold cocked him, sending Tommy to the floor. Tommy took out his pistol and shot Fox between the eyes.
      This infuriated Gotti, who already hated DeSimone. Not too long after, Paul Vario was sent to prison for a year (in Goodfellas when he was in prison slicing garlic). DeSimone was so scared of the Gotti crew (who by now had become captain), that DeSimone got himself arrested to get off the streets because Tommy was afraid that without Paul Vario on the streets,
      the Gotti crew would take him out.
      Long story, I know. But point being, it was Burke who protected him all of those years. I personally believe he was on borrowed time as soon as he killed Jerothe. Batts and the Karen Hill rape finally pushed Vario over the edge to where he got tired of protecting him and Vario wasnt going to appease Burke anymore bc Vario was also considering eliminating Burke due to all of the negative Lufthansa heat that Burke brought and bc Vario suspected Burke’s involvement in Hills drug dealing

He might've been an associate, he doesn't carry himself like he would've earned his button honorably & gotten "UPPED" by a respectable family...Idk, I'm an "Outfit" aficionado, I'm a Chicagoan.
