My mom's from Wuhan, and for every single day during a visit there I always devour hot dry noodles for breakfast! That stuff has got to be the BEST noodles I've ever had!!!

This made me really miss Wuhan breakfast. I taught English there for a year after college and was a total fan of the breakfast by the time I left. While it’s hard to find Wuhan breakfast in other Chinese cities (Beijing had one place that was more of a lunch-dinner option but that tasted right), it’s nearly impossible stateside. I’ve had a few versions of hot dry noodle here that have never hit the same. If anyone wants to open a shop in LA’s SGV, you’d have virtually no competition… just saying ;)

The best hot dry noodle in the states I had is Wuhan Foodie in Fushing, NY, sadly not manly people from Hubei have ideas of opening restaurants for Hubei cuisines.

I just went to Wuhan during the Chinese New Year. Not only did I love the local breakfast specialty 油饼包烧卖 (you bing bao shao mai) which is a fried flatbread cut open and stuffed with dumplings (because it's Wuhan and as stated in the video: *CARBS* ), but I also had one of the best western breakfasts I've had since living in China. The old European concession area of Wuhan along the river is a great place to find all this great food.

Well Idk about anyone else but Pasta/Noodles 🍜 is something I simply love!! I'm truly amazed how many people prefer them for breakfast rather than lunch or dinner!! I love your videos they display so many shops in China we're you can go and get some Amazing Food!! Good episode, but it was largely focused on how the noodles were dry and oily in the past. When it got interesting with the new flavours it was towards the end. For a breakfast location with over 100 different types of breakfasts, I thought this episode could have shown more variety. In Singapore it is also common to go downstairs to grab breakfast rathe than make it. The density of people in flats makes it worthwhile for everyone to go downstairs to pick up breakfast.
