Thanks for sharing and hosting!! Co-op has been so fun for us so far this year as well😊 And yes, we took a long summer break and I felt like I would have plenty of time to prepare, but nope!! We summered really long this year😅
Thank you for hosting❤❤ Hahaha!!! We totally do the same thing with gather round!!!…or at least we plan to!😏 And yes over here the start has been rough!!…must be this year😂 in general, because I’m hearing much of the same things😆… Man…I’ve been convicted about joining a co-op that has classes once again😂 mine is over a half hr away though 😳…but I’m thinking I should! Oh those lamplighter books look great!!
The Lamplighter Books are seriously incredible. I want them all 🤣 I totally think it’s this year because literally everyone says the same thing and it makes me wonder what about this year is making everyone feel that way. Maybe the excess heat?! 🤣 Thank you for joining!
So hard to get a good routine and schedule going. I forget to give myself grace even though in your season, you certainly can use all the grace and the the easy you can get. You got this momma. A lot of exciting things on your way.
Oh my goodness!!! The schedule dilemma!!!!! We’re having that issue over here…and yep it’s me I haven’t even added in everything Ave we’re on week7…and yep I need to be consistent too!! Thank you for your honesty!!! Awe you’re pregnant!???? Congratulations!!!!!!! Prayers for a healthy pregnancy!!!
Okay, you entertained me the whole time I watched this video😂 They lied to you about energy during the 2nd trimester.😄 You and me are in the same boat. We have to wake up earlier to be prepared. We've been starting at 10am.😄
Yes! Here’s everything we are using for my 5th grader ua-cam.com/video/gsPgKhpUV0I/v-deo.htmlsi=x13vRjdm9dMc1Cps I don’t have any in-depth reviews yet since I wanted to use it before doing a flip through/review
Math u see is awesome!!! AAR is awesome and helping my dyslexic kids to read more confidently!!! We love masterbooks for bible!m, along with gentle and classical morning virtues!!! Nothing wrong with buying a science unit study!!! We find with languages my kids have to go back to certain lessons!!! We are doing catechisms in morning time and use flash cards!!! Don’t worry about how long homeschooling takes!!! Remember it’s only September and you have time to add more in!!!
Hang in there! There is a LARGE learning curve! It’s takes some time to figure out your families best rhythms and routines. It’s is exhausting too. But it all does get better. ❤️
Mostly behaviors of not wanting to do their school work.Which leads to everyone being upset, mad and nothing get done. I have no help so it’s hard not having a break honestly
@@brendahowell5946I totally get it! We have struggled with that here and there. I think you should find out why they don’t want to do it (like is it a curriculum problem, does it overwhelm them or do they just want to not do any work in general) so you know if you need to change or alter how you use the curriculum OR is it a heart issue. Looking at any problems we have faced those things are usually the culprits and it helps me to target what the actual problem is vs just the attitudes. I pray you find what works for you all. Don’t give up mama, not every day will be easy but it’s so worth it ❤ and you can always reach out to me through email or IG and I’d be happy to help however I can.
My first year was last year. So I know the feeling well. For us, I felt like we were hanging on by the skin of our teeth until we took a Christmas break. Then, magically, when we came back to work it felt like a habit! Like we all knew what was expected and how to do it. I hope you can have a similar experience!
I totally get you about pregnancy and homeschooling. I have a 12 week old and last year I was pregnant from October-June and it was ROUGH. I felt the same way in second trimester. 🤦🏻♀️😊
How is your year going?
Now it’s my turn to blush 😊 Thanks friend! ❤
Haha!
We loved the Space unit from Gather Round.
Excited to hear more about PALs curriculum from IEW
I’m totally doing a review once we’ve used it for a bit
I enjoyed being a part of this collab. Thanks to you and Davene for hosting. 🌻
Thank you for joining us!
Lots of changes! Thanks for hosting.

IEW scared me at first, but it really works.
It does! I’ve been trying to listen to all of his past podcasts. They’re SO informative.
🙋♀️ Yes, I have those internal struggles too!
🤣 so glad I’m not alone
I love hearing about all the times you are using and how they are going. Definitely will be waiting for the SCM update!

Haha they totally lied! Yeah, I feel like I need to wake up at 6 just to start by 8:30/9:00 😭
Gréât vidéo. Totally need that easy button.
Yes! Sometimes it just makes a world of difference to go the easy route in the beginning so you can do the more challenging later on
It's been a bit of a rocky start for us as well. Hoping we both fond our groove this year. Thanks for hosting.
Hope yours settles down soon!

First year homeschooling. How’s it going 😢 so ready give up😢exhausted
Oh no! What are you struggling with? Sometimes it just takes time. Try not to give up just yet. You may just have to alter something.

What is your fifth grader using from IEW?
Structure and style, fox it grammar, and phonetic zoo
And we are going to use their poetry curriculum in our morning basket
