Sorry but that rather discounts the efforts of the Chinese nationalists (remnants in present day Taiwan) that were the Chinese faction most powerful in the war against the Japanese. They fought the Chinese communists before, during and after WW2, finally losing power to the communists in 1949 and relocating to Taiwan, 4 years after WW2 had ended with the capitulation of Japan.
