Hi. As the makers of Laser X, we wanted you to know why the blasters make the beeping sound. We've designed the blasters to beep, so you know a player is in "play." Without the beeping, a player could just turn off their receiver, then turn it back on and declare themselves the winner at the end. They could also hide for the entire game, to keep from getting hit. The beeping is designed to keep all players honest and in the game!
