You can also break your fall with flame - I've seen people survive jumps into cave bucket lift holes by shooting incendiary shotgun shells down the hole as they jump.
Be interesting to see someone do this and build as high as the planes

Dirtrider, Right click the TC behind (to the left) of the one crafting in the UI and you don't have to use a inventory slot to catch the wood.
Bro all these youtubers get so lucky finding loot early game. I can't even find enough cloth for a sleeping bag after an hour

Sometimes doors an boxes glitch out an your not able to pick them up but all one needs to do is place a lock on the door or box an remove it and it will then give you the option to pick it up

You know what you should do. A box trap base. You start building just outside outpost and go with boxes in square all araund it. Then any players who flys a heli in can crash into those boxes.
