That being set aside, have you never tried to like make an outpost run, then moved on to square only to go from fucking 200fps to 26 fps and then after the lag and the loading of the litteral walled off square with the Literal Collesum 50 man zerg base, plus their hemp base, manure base, tea base, and 25 windmills load in, right as a silenced bolty turret on 1/100 externals kills you? I know you have if you play big servers. Zergs are already slightly pathetic, the more members the worst. You should max be able to play in groups as big as a team UI can be and if your playing with more you should be banned. 50 mans ruin the game for normal players. I play solo but even trios and quads. You can be an absolutely cracked trio. Yet you're not betting a 20 man full metal AK roam on wipe ever. I truly think the huge zergs make rust partially the toxic shithouse it is. As soon as I find these squares I go double db and use everything I have to make landmines and bear traps and compound bows to block their gatehouses, shoot their turrets out, and rat as hard as I can on them. Or I'll try to ghost while they build get a bag down inside and then litterally dispawn as much of their loot as possible while they roam. Rockets first always.

The landmines were so funny. Honestly I'd love to watch an entire episode dedicated to turning a single grid into a minefield.
I've done it. I didn't record it, unfortunately. But I put down over 1000 land mines on a 1 grid server. I laughed so much my sides ached.

Edit: picture a full pop server where every clan buys 2 helicopters each - it's still a feasible amount of entities to have on the server.
Just get better servers if that's the case.
It's a game engine problem. But he wasn't intentionally trying to lag the server. They were just cramming as many helis into outpost as possible for shits and giggles. It just so happens the engine can't handle it.

Can someone who plays Rust help me understand a couple things? I've been watching a lot of Blooprint, and his videos make scrap,etc. much harder to come by than in Dirtrider videos. Why is that? Also, is admin interference common on all servers when stuff like this happens?

the shit you do with landmines is great. unfortunately i do it on console, so making a single landmine is very expensive. instead i just make bear traps because they are resettable and i can hide them better.

Yo idk if this would work or not but try to make the outpost your base and then piss a clan to raid you just get a car and place codelock then place that inventory thing in the car then place the car in outpost then you should have an unraidable base that will protect your loot😂 😂😂😂
