- I decided to go undercover in Rust and see how a cheater acted when i played with them! This is how it went!

you know,,,,, I was very confused what happened to the first one XD
I was gonna say before the video was privated that you should look into investing in a UPS. That way if the power goes out again then you won't be interrupted. Only issue is you would need one for your internet provider router too and that it costs money. But well worth it to me. Depends on your size you go after and the wattage will determine how long but I can achieve around ~450 watts of power consumption for 10 to 15 minutes on a 1500va UPS.

You should get a mod that hides the "Admin" display.
Not how it usually works but you can typically make a role with no tag
I recommend getting a basic UPS so power outages don't harm the content! I got two, One for the internet and one for my pc stuff, Gives me like 2 hours extra run time

I have an idea for cheaters. A massive arrow pointing to their location "Cheater here. shoot for profit." And even better if the cheater and team can't see the arrow/indicator.

Sadly Camomo isn't a plugin developer, and I'm not sure how they work with rust anyway. But if that is possible, it would be an excellent plugin idea
@@xbamfo8199it definitely would be possible, no different than admin esp/ making someone admin mid-game and they use it, altho it would be a seperate script for everyone where the above-head tag is visible whenever its activated on a cheater.. no reason it cant be done, they are all coded in lua btw

Buy a ups power backup. Pc stays on. I have major roadwork near me and it's saved me a few times laterly when power goes out

You should have admin privileges on every server man XD
Battery backups are huge for power outages. A quick outtage isnt even noticable. I use a big one for my PC and minitor and a seperate cheap one just for my router. Even if power doesnt come back on, it lets shut down properly.
camomo you are the first person i have subscribed to on you tube, i discovered your videos several months ago i liked it so i decided to play rust because of your video. i am a older gentleman .. i bought a ps5 and downloaded rust because of you, you always say to f7 players but how do you report any one when using PlayStation 5? can you explain it in one of your videos not every one uses a computer to play , i am practicing the game on the community servers to learn the controls i have looked for the report command but i cant find it can you please help by explaining how to report when using a consol?

You need a battery backup so you can turn your system off properly when your power goes out. Also has surge protection built in.

You probably can't afford it easily but you could get a backup battery for your computer and modem and also a generator for the house. If the power goes out, you'll have time to get the generator started. But this is obviously crazy expensive and definitely not worth it unless you lose power a lot.
Why would you think Camomo couldn't afford it? He has a very successful UA-cam channel here, regularly has sponsors and streams on Twitch. I would imagine that he makes quite a bit more money than the average person.

@since1876 Have one behind my house. We have a lot of tornadoes and bad weather so the power gets knocked out quite a bit. Diesel generators are pretty reasonable.
You should do this more. Since cheaters always come back anyway, you should try to waste as much time as possible for them. Keep them on the server as long as possible without tipping them off that you're onto them. Basically what Kitboga does with scammers. This is also much better content than chair/bluescreen/shark every time.

I have rather mixed feelings about this. If the game allows you to do something within the normal gameplay (no cheating, glichting etc) i usually assume that the game devs are OK with it. And if it neither violates the rules of the specific server you are playing on nor violates the law (hate speech, etc), than that thing is allowed.
I first had this discussion like 20+ years ago playing the original counter strike. If the game gives you a sniper gun and locations to snipe from, i'm assuming i can play like a real-life sniper, just laying there and picking of enemies one-by-one at my own pace...
You could have made a massive compound while he was gone, fully upgraded with turrets and spot lights. Maybe ser up a ledge facing his base and drop as many auto turrets to door camp him later on... he did say hia friends were coming so wait for everyone. Set their spawn location on their sleeping bag so they keep ending up in their base.
