As an advanced user, you could also bend one leg on a paper tack straight, grab it with a tweezer, heat it over a lighter and then press and sink most of it into the plastic, followed by cutting the leftover leg with cheap nippers and processing the spot, same way breaks on plastic on life-sized vehicles are reinforced from the backside with heated special tacks.
Thanks for this video. I recently built my first mg, the Tallgeese ew, and one of the pieces of the knee, that makes it shift when ot bends, broke with barely even a touch. I tried just super glue twice, one time letting it cure for 14 hours and another time letting it cure 25 hours, to no avail. While I do not have plastic cement, do you think acetone would work similarly?
@@youraverageshitshow4715 I can't believe it's been a year since I built my first MG I did make that discovery. Even after getting plastic cement, it still didn't work. Despite this, the part is hardly noticeable as long as I don't put it in a pose where that leg is bent
Any idea on how to fix a stressed clip joint? So far my Barbatos has a stressed joint on the shoulder making it possible to hold the shoulder armor, and the same applies to the foot too 😢
Excuse me, after i sanding the hands of my red frame (HG model) to fit with different swords that i adjust. So using powder and the cement can restore like a normal hand without sanding?
