I got these in a laced version and I love them, I put a good amount of rounds in them, still no problems, comfortable fit, I usually hit the bags with fight gloves and they wear down so fast but with these get great pop with them, and can certainly let my hands go without worrying of wearing the gloves down; the sound and response I get on impact is magical, certainly fits like a fight glove

Nice review as always! For the scuff, have you considered vinyl and leather repair kits? Restor-it, Visbella or Kraftex brands do some. I have fixed scuffs in gloves and thai pads. Works quite well..

Ive heard a few people saying that when they have used these for a while their knuckles end up hitting the xrd pad and it hurts their knuckles, what are your thought on this? thanks!

Hello Carlo. Do you use the Fortress T1 fast wraps with these gloves . Also how have the gloves held up in particular with regards to the scuffing that you mentioned due to the XRD ?

I'm looking for a 12oz glove that is budget friendly to use for the heavy bag and mitts. There is a good deal on the everlast powerlocks(velcro) for €60 (originally €84), also intrested in the infinitudes and the venum impacts. What glove/s would you recommend me ? Thanks in advance.

I’m new too boxing.. and was wondering what size gloves and the best gloves to get for strictly bag work (heavy bag and reflex) I’m 5,11 220 my hands are probably average but I may have longer fingers.. I got the back for cardio, I hate running.

I know you mentioned that these are pretty similar to other training gloves in terms of shock absorption but did you feel like the XRT padding offered any extra knuckle protection? Or does that end up being about the same as well? I don't have any injury problems with my elbows or shoulders but my knuckles feel it when I use my Combat Corner training gloves on the heavy bag.

Trying to choose between the XXL's or XL's . Do these XL's have a deeper finger compartment vs the Rival Guerrero D30's 10oz? I have a pair of RB-11's XL and the finger compartment is just a tad to tight of me.

The Velcro still holding up? I heard the Velcro on Phenoms is horrendous
these are so nice, too bad they are so expensive
it would be cool if you btought number ratings back but would rate out of 10 not out of 5 so it would be more precise easier to know the difference between gloves

I prefer the rivals because the wrist support system. However the quality on these are better and more consistent

I do wonder if Rival still has a patent on the glove. Phenom doesn’t have original ideas, most of their gloves look like a copy of Rival.
I’m not sure if there ever was a “patent” on this style glove, or the d3o material. One could make it “look” the same but use different materials.
