wanted to pin a comment since this video was filmed very long ago and I obvi do NOT support buying from Starbucks 🍉 also - in the video I did rate their matcha the way I did mostly as a joke😭 because it is SOO sweet. Like 50g of sugar ofc it will taste good because it's basically melted icecream💀... I wouldn't even say Starbucks matcha is comparable to real matcha because it's just powdered sugar lol (that's why it tastes like rootbeer instead of matcha😅) - I know a lot you guys love Starbucks matcha but trust me you can make a better one at home!!! I want to be super clear that pure ceremonial matcha will always be my favorite & is ALWAYS what I order/make for myself at home! Nothing will ever beat ceremonial matcha from Japan ♥️ LOTS OF LOVE!!!!!! And so excited for the matcha biz 🍵

It’s aimed to bring harmony and inner peace to the guests by allowing them to come in and take a break from the hustling world outside, which is why it’s very quiet. It allows them to focus on the simple and special moment of being served tea :) Ashley for the best matcha, I recommend you take a trip to Japan HAHA. Every matcha I’ve had there is delicious, even if they’re unsweetened. and japan’s Starbucks matcha is very good too :)

It is good matchaaa, I’ve worked there and the powder is real pure, ceremonial I’d say, the sweetener is not added, next time you go and have it either with water or almond milk, no classic and you’ll see

Hi Ashley! The Lê Phin coffee place, is a Vietnamese coffee so the word “phin” is pronounced “pheen” sounds like “seen” but with the ‘ph-‘ in Vietnamese. Hehe! Hope that helped! (: love your videos!
(Also, the phin is the silver, stainless steel that helps brew the Vietnamese coffee)
ive been taking traditional japanese tea ceremony classes for the past 8 years and since you love matcha as much as i do (to the point that you appreciate just straight matcha with water as it is traditionally made) if you ever visit japan, you should definitely book an experience at a one on one or private guest tea house in a japanese garden :) we spend years and years training to do demos and to become a MASTER takes decades of practice! there's so many intricate details the go into it from the foot steps, to how you sit, to hand placement, what you say, EVERYTHING
