I have another one. Go to your Mazda Dealership, and you will notice many MX-5s which all seem to be basically the same. They don't come with a detailed interior, so people normally go for the one that has a cockpit. But if you buy the other ones and then paint them in a new color they will actually have a special livery on them. There are about 10 different versions of it!

I only just discovered the MX-5 stripes, some of the designs are amazing! I've found 14 different models so far, each with a different design. Pretty neat little easter egg there!

As I said, there are 14 specific models of the MX-5 that hide this secret. All you have to do is paint one, and the design is revealed. Each model hides a different design, some are neat, some are odd. All are awesome.

Change the oil immediately after purchasing a new car and get HP gain of around 10-50 hp depending on vehicle. Does not work if you drive first.

Well done! Thanks! I LOVE GT 6 and to me this is just a cool reminder of how much attention to detail was put into this game. This is another reason why I am holding onto my PS3. In fact, I just upgraded my hard drive to a 1 TB hybrid drive to ensure I will not miss out on any of those awesome flash sales and to make sure to have room to store all that GT 6 DLC goodness! Thanks again!
charlie, dude gt6 is a 2 year old game. gts is coming soon. there is no more dlc for the game... unless they release a new GTV car
that last bit about the lambo.. that is not a gem.. thats how they are in real life.. no show skirts.. one hole for a cooling function on not in the other..

the side vents on the Lamborghini Mercialago are actually different from side to side on the real car hence why they are different in game. I believe this is because there is an oil cooler on one side and not the other. Also mentioned on top gear when it was reviewed.
I've been playing GT since 1997 and most of these tips I was unaware of. Great video! It's nice to see someone uploading something other than click bait.

On a rally track (can't remember the name, I think it was the biggest one) configuration, near the finishline if you look to the left you'll see a giant hole in the scenery.
Some variants of the MX5, more specifically the ones with the light brown tops actually have functioning reverse lights even though it is a non premium. Same thing for the standard old AE86s both Levin and Trueno are non premium but have functioning reverse lights! Something I recently found out when doing some time trial experiments on 80s japanese cars
They are "semi-premium". They have premium exteriors, being basically like a premium, but with a blacked-out interior. Don't know if that's the case for other "semi-premiums" as well, as I never even noticed standards had no functioning reverse lights. Don't they?

Michael Orlay What would be great is if GT would compress the list a little instead of having 3 different versions of the same RX7 or what have you and update all of the PS2 models still used in GT6
I know this thread is old and I haven't played the older games but I think gt sport was necessary to have gt7. Starting afresh next gen gt sport kind of had to be the foundations. I've seen how the older games had cars without interiors etc and that just seems really sub par. I have no doubt that the older games were great but imagining a newer, more polished version of the older games without compromise seems worth a wait to me.

@@user-fo1ow1jq3b how? It's easily one of the best games on the market. I can tell you in every other area of video games the standard for polish and value for money is a joke. When I got gt sport I was absolutely blown away. I couldn't believe how much was available and how polished everything was. All for a one time payment with free monthly updates to come. In any other area of the industry thats near on ludicrous and the games that do have decent value for money are considered needles in a haystack. It's a sad standard but it is a reality. Consider what was a flagship game for consoles aka destiny. You bought the game for $100aud (I can't be bothered converting), and then you're expected to make an extra $40 payment JUST to be able to keep playing the game for one season of content. That's over $200 for the lifespan of the game. There was no free content or tokens of good will. Hilariously the content wasn't even good mostly. So when I tried racing games my expectations were really shocked. A lot of the guys into these games don't know how good they have it. And while sure gt sport offers less content than previous titles it offers a good amount and it is GOOD. So long as you have other games to fill in the gaps where gt sport might be feeling a bit dry it's a phenomenal game and even when I take breaks from this game I alwaysss come back.

It’s so sad they closed the servers down on this game, I’ve recently started playing it again. Looking at my cars and it tells me I purchased them in 2013 :( watching all my replays and photos from online back in the day. So many good times online. It’s the only reason I bought a PS3 was for GT5 and GT6. What a shame.
You still can play Seasonal Events, Get Daily Bonus, and Have Custom Tracks by installing GT6 Spec II Mod
And any car with less than 50bhp can be detuned significantly. Buy all upgrades and then exit the menu, detune the car to 50% (brings the car back down to around 50-75bhp) (note upgrades will still be on), remove upgrades and voila! A 30bhp 2008 Fiat 500 or a 11bhp VW Camper

The reason behind the air intakes of the Murcielago is because it only needed one intake, so instead of making a fake one on the other side, they decided to leave that side alone. Thanks Audi for that one
I like it. Too few cars have asymmetrical design IMO. I love that BMW went asymmetrical with the headlights of the S1000RR.

One thing I like which I'm not sure people know: The colors on each color category are not all alike, just having a different hue. They have differences.
One which I really like is "Ebony Black", I think, from the Jaguar XKR-S '11. It's a basic color, but it's less reflective, almost like it's somewhere in between a normal color and a matte color.
there's a place you can go outside of a track and it can only be done in the classic mini on Ascari
You can actually put a Carbon Hood (not color) on a Mitsubishi FTO GP version R (the 1999 one)
It also (on the outside) looks like a premium car, but isn't on the inside

About the torque thing, i read that EV cars have differently calculated torque than petrol cars. So in fact petrol cars with correct gearing can have the same torque (ON WHEELS)

Just painted the Jag XJ13 Chrome line with the Peugeot chip and it lost it's chrome stripes but retained the chrome GT logo on the side...painted it again with a normal color and the stripes are back....

i had the same blackout paint thing happen with FLASH #521. I can't remember the original vehicle, but it was blue i believe, and when i went to paint my 4200R, it was blackhole black. so i used it that way.
I found a hidden gem (literally): Go to Mt Panorama, exit the pits, turn around, drive to the last corner, and take the branch away from the track. When you pass the first barrier, turn around, and crash into the blue tyre stack. Boom, hidden gem
Yeah that trophy is pretty well known, which is why it didn't make the list.

the solid matte black glitch happened once to me with the color bianco 1970 and the peugeot vgt wasnt in the game when it happened

GT sport need's this "NOS" button for using spacial features of car's that have some. Like the time attack car so we can controll the wing by ourselves.

For the M3 base model, I don't think you have to buy the livery models, all you have to do is drive the M3 race car in arcade mode, which unlocks it.
I just heard that from someone else as well. Cool, that makes it easier for most people then.
maybe not as much torque as the Citroën but check out the Jensen Interceptor ...it can have almost 900 lb ft torus upgraded ...

Interesting. I didn't realize about the boost feature for that GTR. Considering that the boost feature button is the same for NOS, I suppose you can only utilize that feature without equipping NOS, right?
It would have been pretty cool if the automatic BMW's in-game featured the kick down button (just like real automatic BMW's).
If the 2020 VGT could have nos then yeah it would presumably counteract it, but PD didn't allow the car to be upgraded unfortunately.

It doesn't change your top speed, but it makes your car completely frictionless, causing the driving tires to spin at a constantly increasing rate.

Also, Forza Horizon 2 has a similar glitch where if you get a Lamborghini Veveno and do a list of things with it, you find yourself moving at over 1,000 km/h because the wheels are constantly spinning at an increasing rate. My proof is the telemetry editor.

The Audi V10 Streamline does NOT have the best fuel economy on SSR X. Actually it is the Light Car Company Rocket, capable of over ten laps in a single tank, provided you have a good tune.

the boost think on the nissan VGT is the hybrid system and ingreses top speed as however this is the only hybrid powerd can that can do it in all the others except the NSX Concept it runs out automaticly after a faw second and re charges under braking

+Christopher Duclos Tomahawk S doesn't have panels. It is DRS and it uses its pneumatic unit for extra power. That's why you can hear the air coming out with the car stopped

The Peugeot black paint glitch works with all the colors...I know, because I purchased the car in all the colors.
I have a note: the reverse chapral 2j is not anywhere near the fastest you can go without glitching the game. Most supercars can pass 290 mph when modified and given a high-gear transmission tune, the top end red bull cars can all reach 300mph with no tuning, and the SRT Tomahawk X has a tunable top speed of more than 400 mph.
however, the chapral 2j is the fastest possible car in reverse. second place is the citroen concept GT electric car, which can (with no modifications at all!) go 210 mph reverse.
Bjorn Stronginthearm I didn't say it was the fastest in the game - I said it was the fastest in reverse. And also, the Citroen isn't the second fastest in reverse - the Chaparral 2D is, at around 260 mph backwards.
All SRT Tomahawk have the "Stealth" Boost (Turning the aerodynamic flaps off), even the S model, don't ask me why.
the only glitch that i know on gt6 was the vision gt car money glitch, that was awhile back, since then i havent updated the game yet so im missing out on a lot of features.

there is another well quite a few other items firstly the paints if you come across colors that carry a number such as white # 419 those are actually black there several can't say how I got those but I purchased everything for sale in game ice white # is also black there is a red and green even blue all with numbers all black.
