Thanks sweety! Just go back a few videos and I talk about it. would you like to be added to the Facebook group and read about it and see if its something you would to do? Just let me know. Hugs V
I really enjoyed your video. I love that you showed the difference in colour one can achieve depending on length of time and types of coffee or tea. I’m trying mine now. Thanks for the encouragement 🤩
Thank you! Yes the green tea dye is subtle. That is why it looks like champaign. Very pretty. I left some over night in eight tea bags and it came out way darker. You just have to try with different amounts of tea and water to archive the color your looking for. Hugs V
Just learned about green tea dying from Maggie White who used dyed items in one of her projects. She added a link to your channel to learn more. So glad you experimented. Beautiful shades of champagne. I just wonder what colored teas might produce. Hmmm. Hugs and blessings, Hazel Marie.
+7mrst Thanks sweetie! I did another bach and used more tea bags then I did the first time and they look too dark almost like a tea or coffee. So keep that in mind. I thought I would make a large pan and be able to throw more in but I don't recommend that. Hugs V
I love the way it looks! I did do another large Bach in a big pan with a lot more green tea bags thinking if I used more then I did before cause I was dying a lot this time. it would be the same, not sure if its cause I used too many tea bags or what. But it came out like a regular tea dye darker than the the really light color . I also left it over night. don't do that either. make small pot of tea and keep checking it for the color you want. and remember it looks darker when its still wet. the light golden color comes out when it has dried. so pretty. Thanks for the gallery love hugs V.
Thanks! I left some soaking over night and I used eight tea bags it came out too dark don't think I'll do that again . I like the lighter version. Hugs V
+Debbie Woten Thank you sweetie for the love! Some are just doilies I take apart from table cloths or wedding dress's I take apart. The lace I either get from thrift stores or on line. Yard sales are also a good place to find some. I also get clothes with trims and lace on it and just take off that and try to use the material to make flowers or cover something... Hope that helps. Hugs V
Thank you Virginia. That green tea color is just awesome. Thank you for sharing. Just done some tea dye. Definitely going to try this today.
