Excellent work on rebuilding/restoring this muffler and the brackets that you made are incredible and the bike sounds way better than before! Thanks for sharing with us!
Ottimo lavoro complimenti, invece di spazzolare io avrei finemente sabbiato anche il tubo ovale d'alluminio , penso che il risultato era migliore vedendo gli attacchi. translate.. Great job congratulations, instead of brushing I would also have sandblasted the oval aluminum tube, I think the result was better seeing the attacks
Nice work! I have some experience with aluminium mufler restoration. If you want to get rid of all skretches you have to sand it down. Put the muffler in a weld manipulator en Then use scotch brite on a burnishing machine. Works great! Greets, Rik
So does Brass polish to add a deep shine..comes up looking like it's been chromed.... I've been doing it since a kid & building my own Auto glasspacks, he's right above, if you can't do it an old school bodyman should be able to work the case.T NZ
Hey Paul, that was good job. I think it World be perfect if you would have sound comparision and further info where you got silencing mat. Thank you for the motivating video to self doing instead of throwing away. Keep it going
Nice work on this. The finish on the outer sleeve could have been much better with low surface speed sanding and scotchbrite. Aluminum overheats easily when refinishing, the rpm was too high which caused that rough pitted result. The rest was perfect.
Nice, Def worth it on the more expensive silencers. Only real issue i have ever came across is a change in sound due to materials etc used which sucks if it makes it worse but more silent
Because it's pointless, motocross exhausts get dinked and scratched all the time so to spend time on something that 100% is going to be in the same condition in 50-60 hours isn't worth it
Nice job on the muffler, but even better job on the video. It's so nice not having to watch some idiot waving a camera in front of his face telling you a bunch of crap you not really interested in knowing. Great job.
Very very nice job. However I am curious is there anything that can be done to the matte finished body? Trying to restore a crf 150r silenecer. Its in pretty rough shape.
Very cool, I have to do the same thing for my Termignoni, I have a question for you. Why haven't you used any kind of clear coat paint on the metal parts? Aren't you scared about the future rust?
15:20 to repack it every 20-30 hours, is that joke?, regular glass pack evaporates over 600C, i think how to prevent it and only way is to use higher temperature wool-rockwool-800C, but first should go inox wool on perforated pipe, then "titan"wrap, 1400C and then rockwool
Lo siento, tengo muchos tornillos pasados, y eres un buenas manos pero puesto a la prctica, tubmismo, no podrias participar en 24 H. MONJUIC., CAMVIA ESCAPE FROM

Cool, never thought about machining your own grommets! Nice trick

You can get muffle packing at any motorcycle parts website. And almost any powersports shop in your area.
@@big502chevy5 I was responding to turgut avlar, he asked for info on where he got the silencer packing don't you read the comments idiot.
@@oneinthesacsorry, my mistake.

Perfect 👋👋🇮🇷
The work done is really good but it will be best if you have painted the body pipe and mounts with black colour or at least with silver one.. 👍🏻
This is a PROPER work.
Congrats.

You had impressed me sir
Í would like to own all the machines that he uses.

amazing
the sound is similar to the Purbalingga Exhaust
Wkwkwk.. sama aja kayak knalpot reguler, nggak ada istimewanya
so with only a 100K worth of machine shop tools and welders i can save a 200 dollar silencer? Sign me up!
