- Guitar phrasing for beginners is a topic I never new about as a beginner, but as I've helped hundreds of students as a guitar teacher it really is the secret to how to make your playing interesting & you can start working on your phrasing from day one.
Hey guys, Brad Litton from SimpleGuitar.com with another guitar lesson for beginners for you today. Phrasing on guitar is what separates the okay players from the really great players & it's never too early to start developing better guitar phrasing when you play lead guitar. This won't matter if you're playing an electric guitar or an acoustic guitar, too. Even acoustic guitar players need good phrasing! But paying attention to HOW you play notes with phrasing is a big first step to learning how to solo on guitar.

I wrote down every technique and i'll practice them endlesslly in succession until i am the next Eddie...
Have you considered doing some more in-depth look at bends? like muting techniques, how to get the right note all the time, how to practice, string gauge, etc.? I need to get much better at this.

That's not phrasing. You are discussing technique. It's an ok lesson but phrasing is a whole other beast. The next step after this lesson.
