- Veestro is a plant-based meal delivery service. Unlike other vegan services like Purple Carrot, Veestro’s meals are pre-made and frozen, meaning all you have to do is heat them up! In this video, I give Veestro a thorough review after trying 10 of their meals and let you know whether or not I thought the service was worth it!

Thank you for saying that; I am always honest in my reviews. Veestro does have an affiliate program so if someone orders using a creator's link the creator gets a small commission, which why I think a lot of the reviews skew positive. I didn't feel comfortable profiting if I wasn't satisfied with the service.

Aww thank YOU Vero! I wish I could say I liked it more and feel bad not giving them a stellar review, but I think vegan companies need to be on POINT with their cuisine since they are representing veganism as a whole with their dishes.

Would love a video on the vegan frozen meals that you recommend from the grocery store. I've tried Purple Carrot and had several issues with ingredients being 👎 not fresh and a couple not even useable. I've also tried Daily Harvest and like the 🍦 and some of the pizzas. I'm looking for other alternatives.

Veestro has some really good options, especially some of their newer items they added in the last few months.
Would love to hear what your favorites are! Only thing I really enjoyed was the breakfast burrito.
@@TotallyForkable they have a new breakfast item called the Sunrise Wrap and it’s awesome! I also enjoyed the Enfrijolada Rustica, the Red Tofu Curry, and the Herb Crusted Turkey one

I would be so bummed if what I got was the same quality (or worse) than frozen meals at the grocery store! I've only done purple carrot but i've been watching videos trying to decide what to try next, it seems like the more convenient the less good it is lol

I agree with you 100% about the interface of the website I did not receive one of my mails and try to sign in and couldn't find the sign in and I tried to contact them they only have email as an option which is very irritating and there's also not much variety I ordered 20 meals so to reorder I feel like I've pretty much tried everything to be honest I would say it's definitely not worth it the price is way too high for what you get
Right?! I hate when companies make it so difficult to navigate their sites! Also totally agree with you on the variety; it sounds like we felt the exact same way.

Haha, I hear you! For me the stove bothers me more. If I have to dirty up a pan/spatula/etc. I am annoyed 😏
Kind of disappointed by their packaging. I dont know what I was expecting but I guess not a tv dinner type of packaging.
Yeah, it’s a bit unceremonious, but I did appreciate that it was compostable.
I tried a couple of bowls. They were inedible. Looked unappetizing and tasted worse than it looked.
At first I read “inedible” as “incredible”; I was like huh, can’t relate 😂 Yeah I was overall so disappointed and disappointed that I was disappointed. Breakfast burrito was the only good thing and I can easily make that at home.

Like... a few of the meals are quite good, but the majority are either bland or downright nasty. I found the casseroles to be inedible. The lasagna, curry, pad thai and mushroom steak are all good but when you're looking for something to eat on a weekly basis it's a no from me.

Everyone is different and you may like it! But yeah I would kind of rather have my own cooking than Veestro 🤷🏻♀️
Dont do it! They false advertise! I asked them about it and they were like "well if you place an order we will look into refunded what we advertised". I have screenshots! Avoid!
What was it specifically that they falsely advertised?
They are definitely not WW friendly. Very expensive and high in calories
Yeah not sure about Weight Watchers with the points and all that, but Veestro does have a "weight loss" plan.
Worth it? No. They have the most bizarre, complicated billing/delivery system -- that makes absolutely no sense -- and the food isn't very good. Different ingredients cook at different rates, the paper container melted before it was done cooking.. and it was not very tasty. Alternative companies are better.
I don't remember the billing being difficult, but then again I only did one order. Totally agree on the food quality 😕Let me know what services you think are better, I would consider trying them!
@@TotallyForkable I'm still working my way through the options.. but so far my favorite is CookUnity. They had a ton of vegan options and both me and my husband agreed it was the most tasty and had the most interesting menu. Not cheap though..
