Nel cor più non mi sento - G. Paisiello (Italian text and English translation)

Hi everyone :)
I decided to give myself a little project during my year-end holidays; to revisit and record some of the very first pieces I learnt in my classical singing journey. I started end 2015 when I was 11, and as most singers do, I started off with Schirmer's 24 Italian Songs and Arias. Although it has been a long time since I sung this repertoire with my teacher, I will always remember these pieces fondly for their striking character and lovely yet deceiving simplicity.
Nel cor più non mi sento was the very first piece I performed under my singing teacher in 2016 in one of her studio recitals. I remember my awkwardness at performing this minuscule aria; while everyone else had showy arias and long poetic lieder, I was on and off the stage in less than 2 minutes. I regret it has taken me far too long to realise the charming nature of this little morsel of music, and while I might not be virtuosic enough to play Paganini's take on it, I am glad I can at least sing the original version.
Apologies for the poor audio quality and occasional lack of synchronisation with the piano; this was a spontaneous set-up and it was raining outside.
