Klay did the best he could: he gave the Warriors an easy out. It would've been hard to get rid of him fanbase wise easily, this took care of everything for everyone involved. GSW no longer has to baghold.
As a dubs fan, Klay can walk, maybe get some draft capital or a solid rotation big with cp3 contract. With them out the way, Kuminga can really shine, I'm talking 25 PPG. Podz and TJD also take the next step into legit starter roles, and we bring in KCP & Hartenstein esque players to fill out the rotation.
The Warriors Front Office is light years ahead of the competition. 😂. I’m confident the Warriors will make smart moves. Dunleavy/Lacob drafted Podz and TJD.

No matter what, i hope Klay dont leave Warriors on a sour note, doing things like unfollowing Warriors on social media etc. Ending up at Piston will be a harsh reality check.
Once he retires, he will get a nice ceremony from the Warriors, and everything will be patched up. Klay is trying to get that last bag, but that ain't smart for a team to give him what he wants.
Yeah, as a Jazz fan, I don't think there is a realistic trade for Lauri. He is worth way more to us. Fans of other teams think he is an easy get, but that's just not realistic. To make it worth it for the Jazz, it would make it way NOT worth it for the team getting him. Lauri is a young all-star, we'd want a young all-star in return. Picks aren't good enough, we got plenty. Last year I thought Giddey and a lot of OKC picks might be the only trade that might work, but now Giddey is a Bull, and his trade value has cratered.

I'm so happy to see the Warriors down.
4 video in 1 week good job
The amount of over $25M/yr players that are not a key factor in a team’s success is staggering…
People are WAY too nice… he was getting paid $15M/yr EXTRA (imho) to address his ego but he is still in his feelings???
This is what going out sad looks like…
Where else can you go from key contributor to liability and expect a raise?
If Golden State plans to waste Curry last few years to get their financials straight, I wouldn’t blame Steph for leaving… the amount that man’s done for their franchise…
he has to go chase that fifth ring
Klay has a really big ego! He is not a superstar but acts like he is. He just needs to go to another team and just produce good basketball.
As a Warriors fan since the dark days of the early 90s…I feel spoiled to witness the past decade w/4 championships…just like the SF Giants…seeing them win 3 too…GL to Klay w/the Mavs…at this point rather see the Warriors play the young guys while Steph & Dray be a mentor to all of them!🤙🏾
who here after klay to the mavs 😭
😂
A world where klay isn't a warrior isn't a world I thought I'd ever have to live in but here we are 😭😭😭
Bro called it 💀💀💀💀
You’re the only one with this comment Adrian Wojanowski just confirmed yeah he’s a Maverick!
As a warriors fan, I'm both sad and happy. But logically it's the best for warriors.
Happy about what
Klay had his feelings hurt. He’s a sensitive sole. NBA Prince raised by Lord Mychal Thompson. Klay was paid good $$$ during his 2 year absence. The Bucks did the same after their last ‘Chip.
Klay didn’t even reach All-NBA 2nd team in his career but still became one of the highest paid players. He should be thankful he got that contract previously because of Steph and the Warriors title run.
As a warriors fan, I really want klay to stay on the team, but I also want PG on the team
Pg ain’t happening. Declined his opt in
Did you watch the video?
Well, you didn't get either wish. Not sure what the Warriors are doing but they did offer Klay 24 million, which he turned down. Now he gets less although a 3 year deal.
@@randygraham926it’s more money because Texas taxes are better compared to California taxes although as a Warriors fan it was really sad that he left and most likely we are a play in team at beat
I pray that steph will get 1 more ring with the warriors 🙏
I get it, imagine giving everything to your team for 10 years. Then you have a bad year and they just trash you. Mad disrespectful and I think he should heal somewhere else.
He would take less money if the respect and appreciation was there. That’s the part ppl don’t get.
nah man he got more than he deserved for the past 5 years. if he wanted to stay he wouldnt demand 40 million dollars to shoot 10 bricks in an elimination game
I've seen people work at the same place for 30 years and get let go because their productivity dipped and didn't recover, and there's a young new person ready to take their place. It's the way of the world.
He shot 39% 3 lol
@@rockysalvatore435 he went 0-10 and sucked vs the Lakers the year before lol. Keep up now
Let's be realistic. Tatum got a champion for the Celtics and got a max contract extension. Klay with 0 points in an elimination game and wanted a big contract? I have no idea what the mavs are doing paying Klay this much
I can't imagine Klay making a big shot in the playoffs period.
Idk about this one dawg
He get healthy nba in trouble
@@davidbaraka1741 he hasnt been getting healthy for 4 years. he never came back from the injury, plus he is now 34 years old.
He is very stupid to leave GSW, totally changes the whole Legacy thing.
Might not win a ring too again, all this for sake of winning a ring.
Totally sold out the splash brother thing.
Whatever happens this whole offseason will be lit🔥
If Klay leaves that would be such a load of the shoulders for so many Warriors fans! Fingers crossed!
Klay is a shell of himself. People acting like this the same player who scored 37 in a quarter. That dude is long gone
This could be a mutually beneficial situation. Thompson could find a place where he fits better and can utilize how limited he is. The Warriors can try again in 2025-26 to try to contend, while this year they just kinda wing it with depth.
As a warriors fan, I don't like how things is being done in our organization
Warriors offered Klay 2 years for 48 million before the season
He declined
Warriors offered him 2 years for 40 million
He declined
He’ll end up taking 1 year for 13 million
He is doing business the Dennis Schroder way.
After all that success and the moments you made with the players you called brothers for years and this is what breaks that… it must’ve been more that was said
Klay either goes to Dallas if he wants to win or goes to Orlando if he wants max money. As a Mavs fan, I think DJJ is first priority and the most we can pay Klay is $15 million. His role is now just to space the floor on offense and play good team defense.
Klay aint going anywhere but the Lakers, Clippers or Kings. He aint moving out of state.
warriors did have one of the best bench unit i think they need starting power
Klay did the best he could: he gave the Warriors an easy out. It would've been hard to get rid of him fanbase wise easily, this took care of everything for everyone involved. GSW no longer has to baghold.
I was waiting for you to post a video on this brother 😂
As a dubs fan, Klay can walk, maybe get some draft capital or a solid rotation big with cp3 contract. With them out the way, Kuminga can really shine, I'm talking 25 PPG. Podz and TJD also take the next step into legit starter roles, and we bring in KCP & Hartenstein esque players to fill out the rotation.
The Warriors Front Office is light years ahead of the competition. 😂. I’m confident the Warriors will make smart moves. Dunleavy/Lacob drafted Podz and TJD.
Dunleavy come in and gotta be the bad guy, because Myers didn't want to, and Kerr doesn't want to.
The draft was decent. Do you realize how terrible Warriors drafting has been for the last decade? Steph and klay were drafted by Larry Riley.... about 25 years ago. 😂
@@randygraham926 Very true! Lol! And I give Don Nelson credit for drafting Curry. Jerry West for drafting Klay.
Mike Dunleavy was an nba coaches’ son - a player and a scout. I trust him more than Lacob at evaluating players - although Lacob is a great owner…
Didn’t Klay go 0-10 in an elimination game ? I don’t think he deserves to be getting a huge contract
I'm a mavs fan and would love to see him in Dallas, but if he doesn't go there would love to see him in OKC honestly.
He should of taken that 48 mill, that was his last payday before retirement.
That was more than fair.
People forgot that GSW was not going anywhere until Klay comeback mid season from injury, giving them their 4th ring.
A slap to the face is shooting 0/everything at the most important game of the season
I hope he’s willing to change from number #11
Why do think Jazz would trade Lauri? Hes 27… dude just entered his prime and he’s gonna be a beast for 5 years or more.
I’d take either KCP or hartenstein in a heartbeat. Both are great playoff role players.
Curry def scared of kcp
I sincerely hope there is a spash bros. statue one day. But this would be a sad ending -- especially with Draymond still on the team; letting Klay go before Dray is just madness on a spiritual level lol
If Klay does a reverse KD and goes to OKC that would be crazy
GS fan, klays attitude this season was really tough to watch. With media and fans alike, he did a lot of damage to his reputation in the bay. Saying he didn’t care about the fans or the rumors he was washed. Don’t wanna see him leave but no way in hell does he deserve a big contract after his 5 year vacation.
With PG and Klay being there on the market. I could see either going to the Mavs for a year.
No cap space
dude this guy got paid MEGA MONEY while he was mostly hurt for two years. HE OWES THE WARRIORS, THEY DONT OWE HIM
Dubs fan here...Dubs paid him during his recovery for 2 seasons and the dude can't do the organization a solid?...
I get being a human but someone told me respect is a 2 way street
Last season, every media says he's worn out and now, almost every team is with an edited pic with him. This is how they destroy teams.
Best English speaking NBA channel!
