The best investment one can do right now is investing on real estate though stocks are good but ever since I swapped to real estate, I've seen so much difference.
In southern Illinois. I’m 19, & currently occupied with care taking . It isn’t overbearing, and I am financially comfortable with savings. I think it may be a good idea to do this . I have no bills right now, I’m not in college yet, and I take care of a able bodied 96 year old woman at this time. I just want to insure my future a bit
Hi! Honestly, there is no one good answer to that. The questions you are gonna see at the exam change, I believe, every year. They also always have 10 questions that they don't grade you on. Make sure you take as many practice tests as possible, they will help! Also, there is a good FB group run by PrepAgent, I recommend checking it out. Also, PrepAgent videos on UA-cam have been helpful too! Good luck ✨
The broker doesn't give clients. You get buyers from your friends and family, as well as, by advertising online or cold calling. There are many strategies.
Thanks! Yes, you can take the classes online. You can read about it more here: realestateschoolchicago.com/. The exam, however, has to be taken in person.
do you think this is the best website to start studying for exam and what option should i opt for as they have several??? let me tell u i am struggling with finances.
Thanks! That’s pretty easy as most brokerages are always looking for new agent to join them. “Being sponsored” is same as “joining a brokerage” in real estate. Just call real estate offices in your area, ask if they are looking for new agents & schedule and interview. Yes, leasing agents are also commission-based.

It should be, so as long as you can legally work in the US (have the visa for it)? I believe that’s how it works, but don’t take my word 100%. If you do, the business background should be to your advantage.

How do you get listings? Does the brokerage you’re with just give them to you??
Hi! I generate my own business by finding and nurturing leads. My brokerage does not give me listings or leads.
Hi I am in high school and I want to know if you need to know how to read to do a real estate agent
If you're planning to work in Chicago, then no

Those the sponsor broker just give you clients looking to buy, or how?
The broker doesn't give clients. You get buyers from your friends and family, as well as, by advertising online or cold calling. There are many strategies.
What’s the best way to contact you?
Great info! Can I take all the classes online? Do you have to take an exam in person or can I do it online?

How do you get sponsored by a broker? Also, do leasing agents also get paid solely based off commissions?
Thank you.
Thanks!
That’s pretty easy as most brokerages are always looking for new agent to join them. “Being sponsored” is same as “joining a brokerage” in real estate. Just call real estate offices in your area, ask if they are looking for new agents & schedule and interview.

@@anastasiia_real.estate Thank you so much for the reply, Anastasiia!
do agencies employ people who are not yet licensed but interested in taking the exam??
im taking an in person real estate course and honestly overwhelmed with the amount of information and for that reason I have not been able to keep up with the chapters. How did you get through it?
It wasn’t the hardest exam in my life but still very challenging. Just make sure you do a lot of practice tests!
Can I become a real estate agent with ITIN number in Chicago ?
I'd suggest you check with the IDFPR regarding the rules!
If a real estate agent works for a brokerage do they also get paid hourly?
Not in a traditional model. Agents work with a brokerage vs for a brokerage. We are independent contractors, not employees
So how long have you been a real estate agent in Chicago ?
I’m in my second year now!
can u recommend something near orland park, tinley park whom to join who can train and help me get the license and join them
hello I am interest in this career my question is if I am not in Chicago can I still get my license in a Chicago school or does it have to be in the town I live in?
There are schools that offer online classes. It had to be in the state you live in at least
You have to take 75 hours before you take ur exam? Where can I do that?
Yes, before you take the exam. Google a real estate school close to your location.
So how long did it take you to complete the course?
It took me about 4 weeks. I had classes twice a week
Your 1st line: so you want to become a real-estate agent in chicago
