Childhood trauma is terrible. Happened to a friend of mine. They have a lot of the same behaviours, though my friend never had anyone raped and murdered in his pool and him run away. Maybe that was more to do with murdering rapists being his friends. I don’t know I’m not a doctor like all you numpties apparently are. God bless.
I saw him in Bournemouth he used to pay all the lads at the local university in Poole £20 each to come and look at his chuff with a magnifying glass. You had to line up, look and then say something about it. Most lads said “that’s nice” or “isn’t it hairy” couple of cheeky fuckers would say “cor don’t it look swollen” once I said “why is the anus covered in ants” Barrymore took my money back, took down my name and address and went to my house and slapped my mother up the tits. He was well out of order.
My parents owned a greengrocers from the late 1970’s till late 1980’s and, Michael went in there couple time’s a week …what a absolutely wonderful gentleman , when I first joined Twitter I said to him who I was and he followed me back on Twitter . He’s missed on tv , wish he would be back on screen x

That's all he could think about. The illegal drugs. And no one would care about that. But in his drugged or drunken state of mind he panicked. He didn't realize that it would not have mattered. People are taking that stuff everywhere. He panicked over something that was not THAT important. He's not the type to harm anyone. He should have stood his ground. But he was not thinking clearly. I don't believe he harmed anyone. That young guy must have staggered into the pool and drowned. It's all very sad. Michael Barrymoore should put that entire event behind him. It's time to retire anyway. Do something completely different. Teach others.

Interesting to note that Barrymore was the only “non alternative” comedian to take a turn presenting the alternative comedy variety show Saturday Live in the 1980s, and he came across absolutely fine. Barrymore wasn’t always funny but he was always pretty sound.

What happened to Stuart was horrific , but Michael was not the only person at his house , but because of his celebrity status he is the only one who ever got mentioned . He was cleared by the police of any wrongdoing .
One day hopefully there will be justice for Stuart . I do NOT believe ever that Michael had anything to do with it .

I can’t understand why he is not on tv anymore amazing man and funny so funny . I’m 37 and best memories are me round my nans watching him. So a gay man done to much coke and died in his pool !!!!! If that happened now wouldn’t even be spoken about . Poor sod gay , with drink and drug problems in modern society he would be a god unfortunately 20 years ago was wronged X
This is so upsetting for him I miss this man he'd a hard upbringing, what happened with that tragic accident was not his fault he can't be held totally responsible for other people actions as sad as the whole thing was, he's paid for it being this man back
It such a shame to watch this man he clearly unwell or even come off something whilst filming. The slurred speech and the difficulties putting words together. Show a man very down on life.

It seems to happen a lot, people and media, condemning someone for unproven crimes, with no charges against them. Poor Micheal is another victim of these persecutions. Another life ruined, so so sad. A brilliant talent lost.

Michael Barrymore was a brilliant entertainer i would love to have seen Michael working with Freddie Starr they would have been so funny together as they were both great entertainers and all you did was laugh with joy bring Michael Barrymore back on to our tv as i think he could still bring a lot off laughter to so many people who loved him for who he was good luck Michael bring it on lots of love to you, you were one of the best i hope the people who loves you lifts you up and help you to heal ❤❤❤❤❤
Interesting to note that Barrymore was the only “non alternative” comedian to take a turn presenting the alternative comedy variety show Saturday Live in the 1980s, and he came across absolutely fine. Barrymore wasn’t always funny but he was always pretty sound.
Don't forget Peter Cook hosted one too, and I wouldn't really call him 'alternative'.

Omg Michael I remember doing the exact same thing, trying to block out the sound of my parents arguing. It really messes your head up growing up with such violence. We left numerous times but my mother always went back. I didn’t want to but it wasn’t my choice.
