- This will be my co-stream of the Golden Joystick Awards 2024 hosted by Ben Starr. I also have a video coming about The Shadow of the Erdtree GOTY nomination coming because The Game Awards 2024 is in crosshairs by a lot of gamers so we will see how this Golden Joystick Awards show will go.
The world's biggest public-voted games awards, the Golden Joystick Awards, returns for its 42nd year on 21st November, 2024, 4pm GMT / 11am EST.
This years event will be hosted by Ben Starr, known for playing Clive Rosfield, the protagonist in Final Fantasy XVI, as well as Verso in Expedition 33 and Arthur in Warframe: 1999. He will be joined by special guests, previous winners, this year’s nominees and VIPs from across the gaming world to celebrate the best games, studios, communities and hardware of 2024.
Over 12 million of you have voted across 20+ categories, making this our biggest year yet!

UFO 50 is a collection of 50 different style games from rouges to rpgs with golf mechanics for example it is WILD
So many games that I'd never heard of. I need to find a list and see if any are worth playing.
What about Best Optimized Game of the year? By out very out John Litmanen. Too small of a category or not revalent enough?

Awards are GIVEN. You can't WIN a award. Thus the can not be rigged. Its just someones opinon....

@@earlmoore7003 In a sport, the one with the most points wins. Its not a matter of opinion who is the best. It is PROVEN who is superior. You can't stop your rival from winning a award. Its kinda sad you think that way and says lot about you...
Black wukong is fun game but not game of year !!! It should been ff7 rebirth
Well the Chinese audience had other ideas…
Outside of China, Wukong has sold more copies than Rebirth, Metaphor and Astro-Bot globally combined, and when you exclude reviews from China, it drops from 97% in Steam to 95%.
People love this game, me included, there's definitely grounds for the game to become Game of the Year. Cheers
