When you started talking about the Bentley that crashed annually... reminds of that time where 3 years in a row I got crashed into at the same intersection on the same day... I broke the curse by not driving at all that day the 4th year....
I was heading out to my friends house for a birthday party, driving out in a wooded area and going around a blind corner. Ran over an entire family of raccoons. Damaging the bumper. Then a year later, going to the same friends house for his birthday, same blind corner... different family of raccoons. That time I cracked my oil pan. I didn't drive the next year.
Also very informative. I learned to never ever drive through Arkansas for any reason. With my luck, I'll be busted by a power-trip rookie cop who thinks going TWO miles over the speed limit is worse than rape. Even if it costs me in fuel, it'll be cheaper since my insurance won't take off like a rocket.

I love your ticket in Arkansas story. I wish The Ticket Clinic existed in 2008 years ago. I was driving home to Olympia WA from the coast. I had a highly modified Volvo V40 at the time. It was chipped, tuned, turbo timer, custom turbo, custom exhaust, modified suspension, 19" wheels, and more. I was doing 130mph in a 55 zone with maybe 15 miles of straight road. Unknown to me there was a section of this road with three driveways together where the speed limit dropped to 25mph for 100 yards. Well it was also a local speed trap. The officer loved cars. Talked to me about my modifications but was still going to ticket me since he had called it in. I got a ticket for speeding at 100 in a 55, reckless driving, dark window tint, and more. I lost my license whitch I get back in a week. So losing your license for 12 years sucks. When your tempted sometimes you just shouldn't.
Is it just me, or is listening to Ed tell stories as good as listening to Sam Elliot say dialog in movies? He just has the perfect voice for story telling
