So, what should you do if you can't get into the games industry?
I recommend joining a related industry to build experience and transferable skills. Film & VFX, mobile app development, XR and embedded software are all examples of industries you can work in to develop the skills you need.

The reality is that within games there are roles across all disciplines - so many different industries have skillsets that are heavily transferable! Great video Joe!

Aren't the requisites to enter said jobs similar to games?

@@JoeBurridge I meant that, getting a VFX job would be as difficult since they also ask for experience. As an assumption/question rather than a statement.
