I actually met the guy who played Nick at Brickfair. He holds the show dear and near to his heart since it started his career and he’s a nice guy.
It actually made me feel bad for making fun of the show lol

In all seriousness, perhaps Galidor the show might've worked for a few years had it been on any channel besides the dying remains of 2002 Fox Kids. And the toyline might've worked for a few years had it, y'know, not been a Lego product.

It's so obvious that you are not a real Galidor superfan. Everyone knows that season 6 is the most fondly remembered, I mean come on man it's the season that won 7 Emmys, 21 Golden globes, and 12 LAFTA's. Don't you remember the famous episode 15 "Recalling the Future's Past Tomorrow?" It's only the episode where Gorm is revealed to be Nick's long lost nefew from the future. Or how about episode 31 "Saviour of Saviours?" where Nick single handedly saves the entire population of planet Omnicron Zeta Alpha 7, and don't forget about the 12 part season finale "The man who could not Glinch" that was the greatest season finale in the shows history way better than the season 4 finale "Jens Wild Wacky Galaxy Hopping Adventure".

I found that Galidor ship/pod thing in a charity shop when I was a kid, and I found out it fits a Toa Metru pretty perfectly, which was awesome

I have been trapped in the Galidor timeline for three years now.
Its not that different from my original timeline but WOW does Galidor suck, even in the timeline where it's the most popular thing around.

What have I done!?! I travel back in time about 5 years to prevent Lego from launching the Bionicle reboot in 2015, but it seems the mechanics of time travel are more similar to Flashpoint Paradox rather than Back to the Future.
I succeeded in pushing back the release date by 5 years so more time could be invested in proper planing to make sure the line would be successful, but at the same time it seems that such actions created ripples, that caused Galidor to change the status quo, Even then I see that CCBS was still invented in this timeline and it seems the Toa Ignika were the send off wave instead of Stars(I saw some parts from one of them in one of the MOCS), and Lego grew even larger than in my home timeline.
At least I still have my contingency plan, which if executed should undo 90% of the damage, but I fear that unstable situations in governments will carry over to the next timeline. I'm logging this on a terminal which will post a comment identical to this one on Lego Rewind 8 after time resets to conserve information and inform myself(since I will kill one of my past selves in-front of another past me to prevent me from time traveling) and others about the incident.

Well, it definitely seems that the fixing of the spacetime continuum did in fact give us unstable governments and world events, including global pandemic and a recent attempted coup on the US government. But at least we got classic Lego back so it worked out mostly lol.
WHAT that could destroy the timeline beyond repair
I showed my mom what Galidor is and that it was a Lego theme the other day. Her reaction was literally "what the fuck", with the same exact tone she had when I showed her the Bob the Builder reboot.
Surprised you didn't mention arguably the greatest episode of the show: Season 3, Episode 57 - The Mask of Glinching. It was that last-ditch effort attempt Lego did to make Bionicle relevant by having the Toa team up with Nick to defeat the combined force of Gorm and some guy named Makuta in a 3-hour long crossover event. It may have been a shameful marketing ploy, but those 3-hours really helped contribute to the story, especially the part where it is revealed that Jens was the one who inadvertantly caused the Outer-Dimension Genocide of 400X and where it it is revealed that Allegra is pregnant with Nick's child. That episode should've won an Emmy, but alas, it was beat by a bunch of no-name shows.Oh well.

On the topic of that Bionicle reboot you mentioned, they're going to use a way more complicated "building system" called the character and creature building system. I don't see myself falling in love with that like I did with Galador's system. Figures built with it look like they were engineered in a factory. Imagine how ridiculous that would be! A factory that builds heroes.
Ya know, Galador nowreminds me of those recent Transformers and Marvel mash up figures. They were basically the same thing where you can plug in what you want where you want it and just make monstrosities.

It's just too bad that EXO FORCE was cut off so early. The EXO FORCE TV show was actually quite brilliant, what with the mesh of prop and CGI aliens, themes of dimensional travel, and quite frankly stunning child acting talent. Truly a precursor to modern hits like "Stranger Things".
Oh, and don't even get me started about how EXO FORCE's early sets are practical marvels of engineering. Set #4040, for instance, is a wonder of the modern world. I really don't think humanity peaks any further beyond this point.
When Lego created EXO FORCE, I even as a child, knew it was only downhill from there.

Let's not forget EXO-FORCE helped inspire the mech designs of Metal Gear Rising.
I'm really happy that Galidor will come back for a fourth time, and now, that they will be completely buit, it will be better, thought i hope it doesn't get cancelled because of Ninjagonicle. In their 10 years they destroyed a lot of action figure themes like Chimador, Nexo knightonicle and phantomidor.
Now talking seriously, i do like construction themes.

I adore Galidor. But, I don't adore it as a fan of Lego -- I use it for custom toys, and also LOVE its design. It's an amazing, chunky, fun series of cheap (they are so so cheap on eBay, etc) toys that last forever. I paint mine, use parts from model kits and other lego, etc. So, yeah, it's not a great LEGO toyline, but it IS a great toyline, period. :)

Btw old Lego figures sell 50-80 pounds these days and they can go up too the 1000 if you want on mint or with a brick built set!!!!

I had a Nick figure and a figure of the main villain whose name I forget and don't really care about. I stuck Nick's head on the villain's body, attached extra arms to the sockets on his back, and made him a powerful minion of my main minifigure villain. A gigantic enforcer who does the bidding of the smaller mastermind.

If you're going to go there, go all the way and change the title and thumbnail.
If I do that immediately, the video would be pointless as an April Fools' joke, and it would confuse people when they started watching. I have a proper thumbnail ready for it that I'm going to change at the end of the day. You know, once people have had a chance to see it.
I'm a rare case, I actually loved Galidor as a kid, no joke! When I was really little, I preferred action figures to build-able toys, so Galidor caught my attention for it's unique robots and aliens. I even remember watching the show and having fun with it. It wasn't until I got more Bionicle sets that I really became a fan of more build-able customizable toys and then began to see Galidor's true quality...or rather lack thereof. Still, it holds something of a special place in my heart

I dunno. It was fun to take on the persona of the "alternate Nick" born in that other (rather depressing world). We like to think we'd be the same "us" no matter what happens, but we're inevitably affected by the world we live in, and the me in that world doesn't have a lot of the things THIS me got to be inspired by... so as far as "he's" concerned, Galidor is the best thing we're ever going to get, because he's given up on anything better coming along.
