F@$k yeah bro, that neon cover was slick, man I hope you continue jamming out, and I hope you keep posting progress videos, much Love Fam and God Bless
wow 9 months was a jump, always pays off to challenge ourselves above our level, great progress also good you focused on the style that is your passion, you will go far like that. Keep up the good work.
I have to say if you can get this good on your own who needs teachers. You have given everyone a new perspective on what's possible if you're disciplined.. !
great progression, ive learned that making sure the strings go in a straight line to the tuners helps with tuning stability. Good Luck on your journey :)
God I loved the tone you were able to get in the end. It sounds so crisp, especially with your playing. Excellent progress! I really enjoyed your phrasing too. Gotta release a full improv session lol. Keep up the good work!
How did you know what songs to play in your level. I'm 3 months in, and I have learned the barred chords on the acoustic, but I have played a lot of chord progression songs and want to try solos. What site and how did you know you were comfortable of playing that song.
I mostly just played songs that I liked really. If you like a song and it happens to be above your skill level it doesn't hurt to attempt it anyway because I found I wanted to practice more when I actually enjoyed the song I was playing and knew it pretty well
Don't give up!!! You got it. Usually many do at the point of a year or so. Once you break through that aha moment and stop comparing yourself to the stupid technical killer amazing pseudo players like my son lol, you just find joy and passion will bring you where you want. Take care. Enjoy this. Keep it up!!!! Hell I can't play that well.
Mostly just learned songs that I enjoyed and practiced the hell out of them. I had a few exercises to help my technique and learn music theory but it was mostly just songs. The main thing I think is to play every day even if it's for 5 minutes. Thanks for watching!
I didn't really follow a structured course. I used video lessons to help learn songs and put together my own practice routine to help learn technique and theory. Thanks for watching!

@@lukeallison3622 My biggest advice is to try your hardest to play every single day, even if it's just for 10 minutes. Once you make a habit of it you'll want to play all the time.
Amazing progress man, very motivating and inspiring! How many hours of practice a day/week? Could you tell us more about the way you're learning? Thanks :)
I practiced roughly 3-4 hours a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. My main way of learning was just by playing my favorite songs, and challenging myself to play songs that I struggled with until I could kind of play them.
noo it sounds unbelievable how in a short time you learned to play like this. Be extraordinarily gifted or it's a fake video and the beginning was just a comedy. It's unbelievable how quickly you learned the chords without almost looking at the fingerboard :-) let it be one way or another good job
i don't like the fact you two are putting him down.i believe he can play srv in three months. it goes to show how jealous you two are. Morgan keep up the great work and ignore those who say things to put you down.
@@Guitarprincess284 You are acting as if this was a normal progress video and we are just completely bashing and discrediting him for it. All we said, is that it is extremely unlikely, that this is an honest progress video. Do you even know what jealousy means? He is going from bar chord to bar chord after "1,5 months" and plays as cool as a cucumber, wich is simply overall unrealistic for someone who has never played a string instrument up until one and a half months ago. You have to understand this, a lot of people will do this and post a dishonest video to get attention and credit.
It depends on the person what is difficult to them and easy to them and plus don't bash and discredit people. By the way I do have a little experience with guitar.

So good. I'm aroused and also impressed with the guitar playing.
yeah i got a stiffy too man
Hard as a rock over here also@@beckettsebolt4896
One does not simply learn guitar without playing wonderwall once.
it was the first song i ever learned
Omg why is this so true
A year and a half in, yet to learn wonderwall 😂
danggg your progress was insane!!! this is awesome. i wish you posted more videos!!! im dying to see more

Power chords.
