Pretty sure the 540 uses recirculating ball steering, not rack and pinion.

I use to have 98 540i that car was tank. After 6 7 years i finally own 530i m sport. 540i is beast but timing chain guide is 🗑

That has got to be one tired 427 Corvette. The only way it's going to do a 14-second 1/4 mile, is if the driver's asleep.
