The moment the modders start using the already existing buildings and make hotels, office, stores, etc.. this game will gain alot of attention ones again. (Im waiting for that day.. hope is soon)
It already got all the attention it can want... and the best mods aren't simple stores and hotels, they allow you to revamp every single gameplay mechanic.
Just wanted to make a correction here, there are more than one brain dances you do use in the quest line. Judy's tutorial. Eve's Konpeki scroll. Evelyn and the Voodoo Boys meetings - more than one. Death's Head snuff. The Peralez scroll. River's serial killer (farm house etc).
Agreed. There’s definitely more but I agree with OP, would’ve been a nice touch if we could use them at the brain dance bars. I’m hype for #2 of this game
So, there are 11 total BDs in the base vanilla game in total. But the BD mod is by far the best the whole community has to offer. However, when we say new mods? All of these were created years ago, but get continued support.
I honestly thought some of these were new, they were on my new page, like the av vehicle one was only out a couple weeks ago I thought for example Still mad that there are BDS in the game and we can't use them lol
There were big plans for braindance being in a game, it was supposed to be pretty huge part of the game. But, as sadly many other things, it got scrapped due to amount of development needed.
Yo thanks for making this video. Cyberpunk is my fav game I’ve beat it once and have HOURS in it. I’m saving for a pc rn I’ll have it in august and this video helped a lot.
when you´ve only seen Braindances once you havent play the game really, you do it once before the heist and i think in the main story only twice after but there are a few sidegigs with it
ive seen more then one braindance, ive been told there are more dont focus on that please lol, ive finished the game a couple times its just been a very long time and they were not memorable to me, they were put in the game in a not fun way and could have been more
Braindances could've been at the very least like minigames, I know they are supposed to be movies you can't interact with but we've seen you can freely roam in them and that you can edit them, what if it was similar to watchdog's ar games. One where you fight waves of enemies, a parkour one idk I'm not a dev here, they could simply expand further and make bds fun to integrate into the game. I'd argue their lacking in the game is simply a byproduct of nobody really wanting to sit through some animation when they could just literally do anything else, like you can tell that from how they only let you edit bds and not even watch, they definitely had a talk internally simply outlined bds as boring, which they would be. Hope they find a sweet spot in the next game where they can introduce them as some sort of game mechanic, maybe you can find them to improve your character by watching certain bds akin the relic progression in the dlc
Is there any mods that add reputation or syreet cred system so you cant get quests from everyone unless you get street cred h8gh enough from them etc. I never understood why these groups would call me when i have zero street cred
You use brain dances at least twice in the main story and in two side quests. Still not enough, but not ONCE. (I don't count the monk because you don't actually do anything)
Economy Overhaul: causes CTD even when using a new save file. I tried looking up the crash codes to offer info but I am used to modding skyrim not using redengine so its a lot different.
I've heard this mods better www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/10181 I never had an issue with economy overhaul but like every single comment has lmao
@@GannaGame I have no idea why it was crashing the game. But I uninstalled - disabled each mod and ran the game and that was the one doing it. It is strange because it has been updated recently. I might e-mail mod author and let them know about it. Its prolly a quick fix on their end
You get to use braindances a little more than once just sayin. You obviously have the initial one for Konpeki, then you have one for River Wards quest, there is another BD section when you find Ev with Judy, I think there is another at Judy's apartment, and there are probably others I'm forgetting because they aren't exactly my favorite parts of the game
Ahh yeah well you'd hope you use a feature like that more then once but hey, that is still not that great lol and they are still sold at certain places with zero use though, which I don't understand
@@GannaGame Yeah it is very silly how some vendors sell BDs just for the description to say like "doesn't function with your hardware," basically just an expensive crafting component once you dismantle em. Tbh though I'm kinda happy they didn't overuse braindances because they usually take forever and after the first time you just wanna skip all that dialogue
@@Chewychaca Why would you? Pretty sure like every braindance you use is meant to just progress the story, not to be an entertaining watch or anything. Like do you wanna watch Yorinobu sit around in his penthouse?
@@Vinnare yeah, you notice little details after. When I first played cyberpunk the whole world was a lot to take in and I didn't understand all the characters and terminology. Now that the whole plot and setting is clear, I could understand the meeting better and notice that Evelyn's hair is actually blond in that scene because apparently doll's can change hair color and Yorinobu appears to like blonds. You can also look for the Iguana and other details in the computer for example.
Braindances had no reason to be in the game more than they did. It's like asking why we can't watch full length movies in a game. Because it's a waste of time.
uhhh, that would be a hard to answer question, i believe at this time i was using epidemic sounds and its some cyberpunky thing off that, i remixed it to be longer the entire video is the same song
The mandatory ones are insanely boring and unfun... thank god with the updates they made it less clunky/flow better but... It's still mostly a hassle and every time I get into one I just let it play, grab a snack, then come back and do the dumb scans. It could have been so cool and integrated into gameplay and stuff. Maybe a noir-esque mission or two. Nope.
