Just got back into Cyberpunk after waiting for mods to build up and update and your video really helped to shake the rust off and provide a solid foundation. I especially liked how clear and detailed you were, step by step, to ensure an absolute "it's your fault if it doesn't work" flow. Thanks for such a quality vid dude.
how do you update the mods manually?
@@akhildraksharapu In most cases it's just drag and replace unless otherwise stated on the mod page.
@@monkeybone1080 oh oka
Agreed. I tried using the vortex mod manager for many of the basic tools like Codeware. Well, it bricked my game and I had to do a fresh install since I couldn't figure out everything those tools altered. This guide worked a treat though.
Thank you so much! I was searching for a how to for so long. This is so easy to understand I didn't need to rewind. again thank you.
i tried adding mods a while back but other videos were a bit confusing. yours was simply and easy to follow. thank you for uploading 😊
This video gave me the confidence to start modding. I wasnt sure that some of these were compatible with the new 2.11 update. Thank you!
Glad the video was informative. So far everything in this video is compatible, but best thing if you have space, backup your game directory and saves and go wild. Even if you break something its a learning process. I broke my entire game countless times trying out different mods or pilling them on top of each other.
I noticed the link in the description for "Deceptious Quest Core" is incorrect. Easy to figure out but thought I'd let you know. @@LastKnownMeal
How did it go?
Skyrim is a good game to start modding.
@LastKnownMeal There is a really handy mod that runs a program and purges all mods from your directory. You just run the verify files via Steam or GOG after running the program. You have a clean install again. I've used it twice and it has worked like a charm on both occasions.
This video is AWESOME!
Thanks so much
My goodness sir, I have never seen such a well-done walkthrough and easy to understand explanation of modding in all my days. Everything you did in the video lines up perfectly with what is being said. I just cant thank you enough, But I'm going to try!
THANK YOUUU!!!
Dude! Thanks for this. Super easy to follow and the fact you showed how some of the popular mods work was great! 10/10
Thank you so much for this video. I was so unsure as to what to do but you're a great help! Thanks
I appreciate the timestamps, how thorough you are, and lastly your Russian accent explaining it all. Good job :)
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it. Not russian though, but understand the confusion
@@LastKnownMealI hope you don't mind me asking, may I ask what your accent is? Its very pleasant to listen to
@@sailor664he sounds like a brother from an Arab country. Some other online personalities from Kuwait, Dubai etc have a similar accent.
Either way, he is very helpful!
Extremely useful video, thank you very much. You motivated me to revisit cyberpunk and be able to complete it with a totally different experience with these mods
Bro i don't usually comment on youtube but for you MY MAN YOU ARE THE FUCKING BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you have no idea how much i have searched for a proper tutorial on how to properly install mods, yeah it's easy as hell but my problem was that i did not have all the frameworks i needed and i jumped straight to the mods , i i eventually became really frustrated as hell, but then lord jesus shed a tear of light and dropped me your 40 minute god like of a tutorial and i thank you a lot for this. hopefully this tutorial gets the recognition it deserves.
Thanks for watching, glad tutorial was helpful.
You have no idea how much this comment represents me xD
Your a legend, thank you so much for making this video. Your explanation was very clear and easy to understand. Cheers brotha !
one most indepth detail modding videos i wached so far, that being said saving this to one of my UA-cam Save Video folders, Thank you for Sharing...
Thanks for watching!
@@LastKnownMeal so i did it all manually can i use vortex for the non framework mods?{none of the mods in the video}
Sensational video for a beginner like me , thank you so much, fantastic work!
Thanks for this vid man. Haven't played since release and that was on console. Since then i've become a member of the pc master race and recently come back to Cyberpunk, had no idea how to use mods properly. Goated video
Very helpful and straight to the point ! Thanks a lot mate.
Excellent guide thank you for this LastKnown
Big thanks for this video as a first timer trying to do any mods.
Great tutorial. Was kinda hesitant to start modding cyberpunk but now I know I can follow this and learn along the way. Thank you sir!

So well presented. Thanks for this!
Absolutely incredible tutorial! Thanks brother!
This is the guide I was looking for.

Great video! mods finally working now you deserve a sub ;D
this was a really good tutorial for someone who had troubble with downloading mods correctly
tyy!
Glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching
This is amazing, the amount of work put in to this video, and I went from MOD ignorant to having a sick costumed CP game, even adding more cars now, among other stuff, you´re a great teacher bro. Best MOD tutorial in UA-cam hands down (100% foolproof)
Glad it was a helpful guide. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video, really appreciate it
I was super frustrated about modding because of previous failed attempts but your super thorough step-by-step guide finally made it work for me. TYSM for this video!!!
Glad video was helpful. Happy modding!

Thank you for this video, this has helped a lot, I was really lost with the modding on this.
Thanks for watching!
This was the best modding tutorial I have ever seen.
Very well done!
best mod tutorial I've ever seen
thank you man 💕
Informative video, although I never had an issue with the order of installing the mods, as long as I installed all the prerequisites before starting up the game. Might try out a few that were shown here.
You most likely installed everything right anyway, I noticed that this order for frameworks works the best, but of course, it depends, some people might do it differently.
good video, thanks.
Amazing video keep up the content I love it!!! Also if you don't mind me asking your accent is amazing where is it from.
Glad video was helpful, I am from Bosnia
my bro is a legend
Cool vid
Thank you so much such a great Tutorial before this Tutorial my game crashed on start up i reinstalled the game followed your guide and now Everything is working fine you have my sub and like
Thanks for watching, glad tutorial was helpful
just beat my first playthrough and want to do a run as batman hopefully this will help alot
All I had to do is feel like I am getting tech run downs from a Scav choom for me to sub to you. Good shit.
Best Video i've seen
Good God this video was a life saver!
Thanks for watching
Thank you
thank you so much
Video should be in the dictionary next to "tutorial". I've modded a ton of games so I know more than most, but this video contains so much extra knowledge most videos leave out. Seriously good work bro.
Thank you, glad that the video was helpful
good video i am dowloading the game atm but i downloading everything before hand lol
Thanks Choom!
You're a life savior
big thx. never modded before and i think i do it correctly now. ty. :D but i dont get what i have to do if a new patch/update comes out., maybe u could do another video with this problem :) ty
Great video! helped install the mods needed for Cyberpunk! last question though do I just launch the game through GOG or do I use the Cyberpunk2077.EXE file in the game directory?
Doesn't matter, you can launch it through whatever you want, mods will load in. Thanks for watching!
Im rarely commenting videos but yeah... Great freaking guide, thanks
Glad tutorial was helpful, thanks for watching!
Thank you sir
Thanks for watching!
thanks
if you dont have time to watch here is a summary: drag and drop
jk aside, thanks. Finally gonna play the Expansion and havent touched this game or its mods in a while. Its a nice summary of what you need to get going.
My game fails to update since installing the mods. I followed your steps completely. Except the custom car had a script or file that wouldn't work - Somehow RedMod doesn't want to install
Hi, thanks for your guide. It is exceptional. Straight to the point with an audio and visual guidance, thank you.
I followed what you did but the mods dont seem to work? I have the 2 differents mods menus and the tweaks menu but when i go the mods menu, there are no modd available. What can i do? thanks
Input loader asks if I want to replace files when I drag and drop it. Am I correct in suspecting its because I had downloaded mods in the past and not everything got deleted properly? Am I okay to replace them? or how should I proceed from here?
Also, great video.....any tutorials made from this point on should strive to be on the same level as this video.
this is a really great tutorial! I followed it around a day or so ago and it mostly worked (Im getting sudden crashes every few 30 minutes or so that I don't know why) but then c2077 updated today so I need to start over hahahaha
Just my luck I suppose. Im gonna do a clean install and start again.
One question though; what mods are safe to use/download? I would try to only use ones that were updated or uploaded after 2.11 (when that was the current patch) but id run into requirements that would be old; like make up, hair, ect. Even the Deceptious Quest Core hasn't been updated this year. Could that stuff be causing crashes in my game? if the mod itself is up to date, but the required mods behind it aren't, what then? are cosmetic mods (like hair, clothes ect) usually safe even if they've not been updated with the current update?
Crashes can happen from time to time with mods, Deceptious Quest core didnt need an update it works with the framework, maybe some of his quests were glitched if you installed anything else on top of it. For the rest I would wait a day or so until most mods are updated and then go at it.
i hope you never struggle in life and i hope you live a long joyous existence.
Does any of these "framework" mods disturb the ligtning? Some times it becomes very foggy/white like during early mornings. I have an 4070s with 5800x3d
thanks lkm. been wanting to mod for a while, but I can never get certain ones working.

+10 to this video 💛🖤💙
quick question dose this mods will work with cyberpunk version 2.12 h1 or no ??
After installing all the mods in the video, I tried to install Redmod like you showed. After opening GOG GALAXY, I can't install Redmod because it keeps saying "Update failed" even tho i never did it before. Someone help pls
Kind of odd. These mods that were updated in April ( yesterday for Archive-XL ) are being blocked on my PC. Telling me suspicious download blocked...
the Equipment EX leaves v without clothes in first person, and when viewing in third person on a motorbike for example it gets very buggy, but in photography mode it's normal, I can't fix this
the video is very good explained but the material and texture override mod is just a blank page for me?
I can add the shops for the clothing but I can't add the clothing inside the shops for some reason
But if you replace the the earlier folders like bin or r6 that you placed from the mods downloaded before. Does it get rid of that mod?
You dont replace anything besides mod files when you overwrite. If you are talking about replacing clean bin and r6 folders prior to modding then technically yes, but some bigger mods might stay in another folder and cause conflicts when you try to start the game
Not sure if this applies here but Im using mod organzier 2 as my mod manager but for my modded playthrough do you recommend that I update the core mods like CET, RED4tXT, etc first and then the game or the other way around (update game first then update mods)?
That particular organizer is good. When it comes to updating, always first the game and then the mods. But its the best if you could completely delete the folder and reinstall in case you used a lot of mods before, then framework core mods and then anything on top of it.
@@LastKnownMeal alright thanks for the tip!
future watchers does it all go in the main directory?
For me Input Loader has 3 folders and Codeware is missing r6 folder. What do I need to do?
I followed the tutorial exactly and ended up with a error saying corrupted or missing scripts file and will be forced to close. Outdated mods or traces of old mods are possible causes....
please help
Just copy everything again from scratch, overwrite since you most likely missed a mod, either redscript or other. All of the mods here are updated to the latest version, work normally for me. But if you installed mods before this tutorial on your own and they are the problem then either delete the whole folder and redownload the game or trace those mods you installed if you installed them
Very cool. I really wish I had the ability to invest in a really good PC as that is a continual investment lol. But it’s always impressive to see the mods especially when they are put towards enhancing a games potential or escape or immersive value… Honestly stuff that should be in the product to begin with from the game creators… But I digress😉
I would love to enhance different graphical, fidelities, and world /NPC/character aesthetics and true customization elements and body modifications with mods but alas, unable to go the PC route.
Stuck with the console versions, and it’s still good, but like I said… Entertainment, escape, and immersive elements that should naturally be in the game are typically things that modders have to add because reasons.🤦♂️
But this is a great guide by LKM here . Hats off to the modders who made these mods for the game, great job. And happy for those who get to enjoy them and that added touch 👍
Thanks for watching, and yeah modding does allow for a lot of freedom. Even just having two or three mods can make a difference. Hopefully cdpr considers bringing some form of a mod framework on console for the sequel, would be heavily censored and limited but at least it would be something extra.
@@LastKnownMeal yeah, that would be cool brother. But I’m sure you’re of the same mind in that censorship is the death of authenticity. 😉
Of course, we both know that simple truth Can lead to complicated perspectives and interpretations.
I always hate seeing potential or authenticity unrealized out of Disillusioned fear and placated control, given to individuals or forces that has /have nothing to do with your creative project. Literally stifling that escape, and genuine intentions, to satiate the whims/feelings/narratives Of the manipulative attention seekers and non-consuming. Whether it’s cyberpunk or something on the extreme other end like Zelda or Mario. I hate it for those creative developers wanting to use these resources and finances to realize the truest success of passionate, creating as much as possible only to have the resulting aftermath of a project blatantly show evidence of disingenuous tampering and wasted potential.
Just speaking in general terms
But I’m glad that the PC at least has the ability to allow creative individuals to unapologetically create. If it’s not for you, then that’s cool (sounds like a you problem n that’s fine ) but we shouldn’t let that stifle genuine authenticity and creativity. Especially just to placate a small group or narrative of typically controlling attention seeking disingenuous delicate sensitivities.
But anyway, some console mods would be cool 😁👍 and yes…. Great vid/guide here .

CET does NOT come up nor prompt me for a keybinding.
cant open cyberpunk anymore without crashing even though i followed everything you did :D
There was an update today for the game, wait a 2-3 days before modding
material and texture override did not download properly for me no matter what i tried EDIT: it was 7zips fault, id recommend just using winrar so they download properly as zipped files
I'm only asking since the only games I modded are the sims 3 and Zoo Tycoon 2. Can I through cross-progression edit my playstation 5 save file through a save editor to like max out my cool and intelligence along with to unlock all perks and to give myself stuff? If so, then how do I do this?
I mean technically you can do it, because all saves from PC to PS5 or the other way around go through the same GOG cloud then it should work. My character stays as is when it comes to skills and perks, but the rest of the mods will disappear on ps5, careful for some potential corruption of those saves in case you use a lot of mods. Its good to get all of your saves and back them up onto cloud or just different folder, in case something happens.
hey, did everything and it works great! is there way to turn off auto updates, so the mods don't break?
If you are on steam, go to game, right click, manage, properties and there turn off auto updates. On gog it's a bit more difficult but just google it, fix is the first result you get.
@@LastKnownMeal you cant turn them off in steam, only delay til launching the game.
Hey, amazing tutorial! But I've a teeny tiny issue with which I could use your help. So I'm using FSR 3 mod (Universal) which has a file called "version.dll" but CET also has a "version.dll" which is a totally different file in terms of size and possibly content. When I use the file from CET, DLSS frame gen is disabled and when I use the other one, nothing comes on screen for the CET. Is there any way to use both the CET and FSR 3 mod? Thanks again :)
Thanks for watching, tbh didn't find a solution for it besides this post, see if this works for you
www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/s/wrhfU3Gcci
@@LastKnownMeal You're an absolute legend! Thanks! I got both the FSR and CET to work. But for some reason, REDScript has a new issue where it doesn't recognize Codeware and ArchiveXL anymore (they're both up to date). And because of that, Car dealer, EquipmentEx and Virtual atelier aren't working. Any work around? Thanks
@@LastKnownMeal Update - I got everything to work smoothly now. After putting the fsr2fsr3.asi file in plug-ins and NOT using the winmm.dll file from LukeFZ, got both the fsr 3 mod and CET and redscript working perfectly!
Hello,i dont know if you did mention or i missed it but what happens if the game updates? Do i need to reinstall all the mods again ? Sorry im from console switched to pc so modding is new to me..
When there is an update mods, traditionally all break. In that case you either uninstall the game, delete the whole folder, then reinstall, update and then mod again, or you can make a backup Cyberpunk folder which doesn't have mods, that would be that whole cyberpunk 2077 folder, which you then replace with deleted cyberpunk modded folder so that you don't have to download again. Also before modding backup your saves in case something corrupts (which is rare and not from mods presented in this video), thats the general rule.
pro tip: take the time to test every mod 1 b 1. my game is dead so now i have to reinstall lmaoo
