because i don't find it entertaining, and some people find him as the defacto person to go to of video game facts, so when he spreads misinformation about my favorite games, it makes me internet angry
I have to say, horror games have been evolving more and more in the last 5 or so years, and, at this point, I think they are the most diverse genre of them all.
I hate them, since I am too much of a coward to play them, but kudos to game developers that have managed to create art that makes me want to scroll down because I am too scared to even watch some other person playing.

It doesn't take much for me to be super terrified because I was an extremely cautious kid when I was, like 6, so when I first saw fnaf, I was permanently scarred, but of course it's not as bad as before, but I'm still a coward.
Very late comment, but as someone who can't normally handle horror, No Code's games (this and Observation) have few if any jump scares and progress at your own pace which made them much more bearable for me.
@@davidmurray3542 Jumpscares are the worst type of horror. A cheap, loud noise to get you startled for a few seconds.
Stuff like these games on the other hand stick with you. They're much more terrifying in a psychological way, and that's the beauty of horror.

JackDander That would be a great idea and I think that the developers thought of that, but they probably couldn't do it due to coding or something. I guess we'll never know.
Stranger Things looks the way it does because it was using the aesthetic of 80s horror movies. It's not some genre that Stranger Things made up. The people who developed this could very well have made the game like this without ever seeing Stranger Things. It's like saying Red Dead Redemption took its atmosphere from Westworld because it's set in the old west.

It's not just the general aesthetic, though. The theme song was basically a 'Jimmy Hart Version' of the Stranger Things theme song, and the title logo was a few strokes and some extraneous lines off from being a dead ringer for the Stranger Things logo.
Criminally underrated movie.
Fuck off, not everyone has seen 80s horror films. While Stranger Things didn't create the 'genre' it did revitalize it and revamp it for a modern audience, so that's what people will now associate that style with.

Holy fuck, that Lab Conduct thing is like exactly the shit that people like Emery Smith claimed their work was like in regards to ET reverse engineering. They just sat in an isolated room, got anonymous instructions for various tests that needed to be done, with very little revealing information disclosed except things that was specifically need-to-know for that particular test and that particular object. Wow.
You know, i watched this series 3 times and I still enjoy it. Love them

Boy do I love SGS and everything about this video, but it irritates me that only Jesse seems to be able to read text out loud without stuttering or skipping over important chunks.

God, Girrard's Narration just makes this so infinitely worse. It's the perfect mix of creepy and deadpan.

Ok so I've been on a scary games squad binge and after watching the house abandon i decided to go to bed. Fast forward to today, I decided to finish the video but my audio sounded really weird, the game sounds loud and somewhat garbled, and the boys all very quiet. I figured they were just being quiet to figure out the experiment but it was odd.. so I went back to the house abandon.
Same thing.
I tried messing with youtube and my personal audio but to no avail.
The game sounds were louder but the boys voices were barely a whisper.
five minutes later I figure out my headset isn't plugged in all the way. Nothing spooky here!
