- I made a 8'x4' canvas to create this minimalist wall art for my living room and I'm truly in love with it. Also, I made a smaller version (3'x3') for my bedroom, which I will show in the video as well.
Spackling paste: amzn.to/3RZtGP8
Canvas 8 oz: amzn.to/3RZ4qIL
Screwdriver: amzn.to/48fm2Wh
Screws: amzn.to/3vpZbJ4
Stapler + Staples: amzn.to/3TJMlzQ

To help with the tightness of the canvas, try stapling opposite sides as you go not just starting on one side and and going around the sides in order. Going to opposite sides helps really tighten the canvas. Then if the canvas is cotton, spray the back with water and use a blow dryer with some heat, you will have a tight canvas!!
Thanks for sharing this!
@@byfarnaz I’m impressed that you make your own frames!!!

I honestly don’t understand how you have 80 views with only 6 likes this is absolutely brilliant! And beautiful! If I didn’t already know how to create it myself I’d definitely be asking to purchase one from you!
Ah, this was so sweet. Thank you!
Beautiful doing this over the winter holiday
@@fitframebri8299 That's great!
Wow, this is so neat and you can make any size you want! Thanks for showing this.
Glad you liked it!
This video saved my entire week. Thanks a lot, Farnaz ☺️
I loved the music you chose to this video. Watching from Brazil 🇧🇷
Ah, glad you liked it🤍
This is GENIUS!!! ART
Thank you!
Simply beautiful ❤️
Thank you!
This video is well done and your art looks wonderful
Thank you, you're sweet!
Excellent and stupendous!! New subbie!
Thank you, this means a lot!
Great job. I recommend not going with DryDex for your spackling because the pink tone is a pain in the *** if the spackling is applied thick. I had a project drying for 5 days and still had pink undertones. I now use other spackling brands without any type of dry time indicator.
Good to know. Thanks for sharing!
Keep going sis! 😍👏🏿🙌🏿❤ I’ll sub now!
Thank you!
I have 3 cardboard boxes that are about this length from a couch. I want to do something with it
This is wonderful. I have been looking for artwork which is easy to make but will still look gorgeous for plain white wall.
What do you call that pink thing?
Thank you! It’s a spackling paste called DryDex with dry time indicator.
Super super
Thank you!
Hi, I love this ! Thank u for sharing. May I ask where we can order this pink plaster? I like the fact that it gets white after drying. ❤️
Hey, glad you liked it. I got it from home depot.
Love it. So gorgeous. Would you paint it after. And if so , what type of paint
Ah, thank you! I didn't use any paint, but I've seen so many people use it.
I have a printed canvas painting that I want to reuse, do you advise painting it white first and then using dry dex or go directly with dry dex? Love your work
Thank you so much! To be honest, I haven't tried painting it first. Most people paint it afterwards. I just applied the dry dex directly to the canvas, and it's been working great so far.
Will this eventually crack and flake? Looks amazing and thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked it. No cracks for me so far. But if you’re worried you can use paint to add a cover on top.
Beautiful! Did you apply anything on top to finish/seal it?
Thank you! I’ve seen people apply paint on top. But I left it as it was.
Very beautiful! Did you paint it after you were done? Or just left it the way it’s ?
Thank you! I left it as it is, but I've seen many people painting it at the end
Love it! Would you mind sharing the music you used?
Thank you! It's "Song of Sadhana" from Jesse Gallagher.
No beveling the edge?
Do u think this would work with a shower curtain (cloth type) instead of the drop canvas?
Canvas is probably more tightly woven than your shower curtain fabric. If you were doing a painting, you need to apply a primer before painting because the paint might bleed through the fabric. But since in this case it’s just spackling paste, I don’t think there would be any issues.
It is beautiful, but you are not listing all of what you used, for example what is the name of the paste or plaster you used.
Thank you! It’s a spackling paste called DryDex with dry time indicator. I showed everything I used at the beginning of the video.
What is the difference between packling paste and plaster?:)
I'm not really sure, but I got this from google search: "Spackle is generally intended for repairing minor damage to drywall or plaster. Spackle, made of gypsum powder and binders, has a gooey paste-like consistency and is sold pre-mixed in tubs. When making minor repairs to plaster or sheetrock, spackle is the way to go"
Please which paste are you using?
She used spackling paste
