I know i’m late to the party, but I recently got the Revlon one and when I used it, I thought I would receive a lot of shrinkage but I actually had a lot of length and no frizz afterwards, so it’s pretty great. There’s also a “cold setting” it’s just a lil button at the top so it’s hard to see!
Also, I have a video request that I hope isn't too embarrassing 🙈 Would it be possible for you to do a full video on how your diffusing routine looks like? Never seen a video on someone's full diffusing style and Im not exactly sure how to use mine without causing more frizz. I have questions like "how long should I keep it on one section?" "How long does it really take to diffuse your whole head after your hair has air dried for about a good 30 min or so?" If you can actually help me out I would be SOOO grateful 😭
Kelly Manana Siobhan Flores some tips Incase you don’t find a vid on it . 1. Keep it on an area of your hair for 20 seconds at most! (15 sec. average) 2. Make sure you flip your hair around sometimes when drying it in different areas so your hair has movement and bounce to it . 3. Keep the diffuser on low and cool air so you don’t get any heat damage to your hair . 4. It should take 20-30 minutes at most depending on your hair type and thickness so be patient !! Mine was on sale too. I got a package. Blow dryer, attachment and some trial size product. I think it was about $115.00. I can't remember if that was American or Canadian.
Hey I noticed people going back and forth about the devafuser...there's the deva fuser and the deva dryer. They're two different things. The deva fuser comes in a special attachment you can buy separately that's like $50 that is suppose to stretch to fit any dryer. You should let everyone know. 👍🏼😁

I don't know if anyone has addressed this already - but I think there are actually TWO types of Deva diffusers. One is the standard one that doesn't attach to most other dryers. But I think there is also one that has a flexible connector that makes it a universal diffuser. Instead of a hard base, it basically looks like flower petals. I hope that helps someone.
I have the revlon. I used it once and I like it. It's my first diffuser though so nothing to compare it to. But I have 4a hair and it works great. Thanks for the video ❤️

I know it's been a year, but if you are talking about the hand attachment I have one from ebay and love it. I bought the Deva's hand attachment for my dryer later on because I thought it would perform better than the cheap one. I spent money for nothing as they both perform exactly the same. Buy the ebay one and save some coins.
I used to use my Orchid diffuser attachment on whatever dryer I had access to, but now I also have the recliner dryer option which I love because of this video! Thanks Bianca!
I bought mines at Target for 24.99 because it was sold out at Amazon! It was still a deal and it’s amazing. I have never used the devacurl one, but the devacurl seems to really get all the hair dry.

The Revlon dryer was my 1st purchas once I started on this journey. I last a very long time It survived my transitioning period (where I was still straightening my hair), the no heat period (used the attachable hood bonnet) and now currently diffusing period. The only reason I had to purchas a new dry while moving the metal plug-ins got bent and broke off. This is a great dryer for beginners

I just visited my sister and borrowed her Revlon dryer while I was staying with her. I liked the results but there were some things I didn’t like about it. As someone who mostly likes to dry my hair entirely on cold, it was annoying to have to hold down the “cool shot” button the entire time. I would much rather have a true cold setting switch. I also didn’t like how the switches were on the back of the handle. If you like to pixie diffuse, you can’t see any of the buttons as you’re drying, so you just have to fumble around until you memorize which switch is which, and which direction is high/low and warm/hot. I also totally agree with you that the warm setting is VERY warm! As I was drying my roots, I felt like it was low-key burning me. Didn’t try the hot setting but it must be scalding.

I just got a revlon diffuser/dryer and they’ve updated it, it not also has a cool setting but the price was different. The original price was $19.99 but it was on sale when i bought it for $15.94. Im still learning how to use it properly so i still get frizz when using it, but idt that’s the dryers fault. Thanks for the comparison! Great review! I have the DevaDryer and I LOVE it!! I've tried others but they don't get my roots as dry. I also like the fact the DevaDryer has a cool setting, I'm trying to stay completely away from heat.

We don't have devacurl here in the uk, so I have a Diva XXL universal diffuser, and the drier I have is the parlux advance light, it's ceramic infrared, and ionic, and it's lighter than the actual diffuser. And as a plus, it comes in all different colours, I have a neon orange 🍊 one!
I have revolon bc I wanted one specifically with a cool switch option bc I hardly ever EVER use heat. I don't want to be holding a button for that long while I flipping my hair everywhere. But I also use a fan which makes it hands free which may be better for me.

I bought the devadryer diffuser top (not the actual dryer itself) for $25. It was advertised that the applicator is the way it is so it can fit into other dryers. I've tried using the devadryer claw on 2 hair dryers and neither fit. Would you say the devadryer claw itself actually fits into the Revlon dryer? Please, dying to know!

I have this exact Revlon diffuser hair dryer for about 3-4 years. Got mine from Ulta for about $25 maybe. Just bought a new Conair pro diffuser hair dryer and it was much more expensive- got at bbb for about $60 (after getting $20 off). I like the Conair diffuser better since the prongs are longer than the Revlon. I’m not sure if it’s really any better than the Revlon, as far as frizz goes, and how long it takes my hair to dry. Considering returning the Conair 😬

I’ve owned the Deva dryer and the plug didn’t last very long, so I ended up buying the Revlon dryer two years later. I’m not sure how long the Deva dryer lasts based on wear and tear…same thoughts-results didn’t differ aside from the diffuser attachment.

I've never used a diffuser (but I used to have one before I found out I accidentally threw it away not knowing the purpose and how to use it, nooooo!!!)

I've got the Vidal Sassoon dryer & diffuser that looks almost exactly like the Revlon one, and I love it!! In South Africa we don't have the deva dryer :-(, but it will most probably cost an arm, leg and kidney if we did :-)

I like the Conair diffuser better since the prongs are longer than the Revlon. I’m not sure if it’s really any better than the Revlon, as far as frizz goes, and how long it takes my hair to dry. Considering returning the Conair 😬

I definitely prefer the Revlon STYLE because I can push the “fingers” to my scalp which helps me have more volume.
But I always look for a dryer that either has a cool shot button or a cool heat setting
I still love the Deva "claw" as we call it at my house👐🏼

I’ve owned the Deva dryer and the plug didn’t last very long, so I ended up buying the Revlon dryer two years later. I’m not sure how long the Deva dryer lasts based on wear and tear…same thoughts-results didn’t differ aside from the diffuser attachment.

I have that Revlon dryer! It's pretty cool, I like it too. I do wish it had a cool (temp) setting, not just the cool shot.

Snap fam!! And I was thinking about getting the revolon (because I don't have that much money lol) and I made a decision to go natural and I'm still trying products and different techniques. I've never used a diffuser (but I used to have one before I found out I accidentally threw it away not knowing the purpose and how to use it, nooooo!!!)

I've got the Vidal Sassoon dryer & diffuser that looks almost exactly like the Revlon one, and I love it!! In South Africa we don't have the deva dryer :-(, but it will most probably cost an arm, leg and kidney if we did :-)
Ha! I've had that Revlon dryer for over a year. I'm glad to see it is possible to use it without becoming a frizzball. My "skill" with a diffuser is laughable 🤣
