Fell instantly in love with Agnetha when i first heard her voice at the age of 9 singing S.O.S on the radio back in 1975. There's just something very unique about her swedish voice singing in english. Just absolutely the most beautiful special woman ever who has an affect on people without flaunting herself or trying to be a sexy poster girl. Just a natural beauty who has aged gracefully!

This is just a well written song; it doesn't matter who sings it - Agnetha, Skeeter, Karen or Vonda - every version I listened to brought tears to my eyes. Oh, and Agnetha is the sexiest woman to ever walk the earth!

Very nice to her her version. I've always liked this song. She did an excellent job as always.
No one can disagree with Agnetha’s hypnotic spellbinding. Nor the special touch that Swedes add to English lyrics; perfection. Nor the fact that we can never stop watching/listening to her. In the back of our mind we want her back desperately. So polished, perfection. An undying addition.
But in the same vein, the seemingly unpolished Skeeter Davis offers a powerful if not more powerful connection to every listener. A difference of untouchable perfection vs vulnerable/honesty with touching.

I've have listened to ABBA since i was 11 here 40 year's later I'm still listing to there music on a regular basis and will always be my favorite.
Agnetha's and Karen Carpenter's later life were melancholy filled. This was a perfect song for them.
I have also observed many comedian lives were also melancholic. A deep, down sadness, persisting for a long time, years.

This is one of Agnetha's most loved songs and inspired her to a singing career. She did this recording in her tribute album to those artist that inspired her life and released her first album in 2004 after not singing for 17 years. She said in an interview that she knew she was not finished with singing because she had to honour those who inspired her life of song. That is what gave us "My Colouring Book". And now we have "A" to look forward to!
