Twin Mama HERE!!! Best advice I can give is to have your support team ready! Do not turn down any help. I also recommend that you push their cribs side by side because they truly do need each other. Don't worry about one waking the other. Ugh I'm so excited for this new season of life for you guys. I'll pretend Benjamin and Bishop are besties with Jet and Max!
I've also spoke to mom's of twins that say their twins slept in the same crib in the beginning. Not sure for how long.

I just recently lost my daughter 6months into my pregnancy and her nursery theme was Winnie the Pooh, Seeing the Pooh blankie and onsie melted my heart. I just had twin girls a month ago! I will put that energy out there for you guys!
In Jan 2022, I had a miscarriage and was so devastated as so many people around me were getting pregnant and having babies. Then in Aug I found out I was pregnant again but had some bleeding a week later and was like, shit I’m having another miscarriage. I went to the ER and they did an ultrasound and found two sacs! It was the biggest surprise of my life as twins don’t run in our families. When I told a nurse that we had lost before, she goes, oh your baby came back to you! Chills. 🌈👼 so thankful and blessed for my beautiful rainbow babies.

That’s what I’m thinking because when you’re transfer you literally can take a pregnancy test a day or 2 later and you know if you’re pregnant or not. So by now they KNOW.

At 5dpt (5 days post-transfer) the surrogate can test and get a positive pregnancy test
Mom of two here! One thing I really wish I did before having my first was doing a trial run of the newborn schedule during the night with my partner just to know what we are really in for and how we handle stress together while tired!
Set two hour timers and every two hours get up out of bed completely and go make a small bottle of flavored water with a flavor packet and a hole punched in the lid (simulating making a bottle) then stand at the sink and squirt the water in the sink until it’s gone. Right after that bottle is empty, set another timer for two hours. Then sit with a doll and change its diaper and pat it’s back for about 5 minutes and then go back to sleep for the remaining time. Do it for a week straight with your partner and that will be a pretty good idea of what you’ll be dealing with except x2 if you have two babies!😅

You'll figure out what your babies needs as you go. Don't stress to much on having everything perfect. The best then you can do to prepare is have your sleep routines ready, your emotional health in check, and an understanding between the two of you before hand on how responsibilities will be carried out an how you can help eachother throughout the new born stage. ❤
So true. Also you will go through a panic stage wondering if you're doing everything right. It'll pass quickly, don't worry. Sleep when they sleep so you can enjoy every minute. I'm so excited for you!

My embryo transfer day was the best day of my life as well! Sending you both baby dust and a healthy pregnancy. I am currently pregnant with a baby boy 💙 it is definitely the year for boys. So happy for you both.
So happy for you guys! As a side note, I just had a baby and I would highly recommend being in Colorado where you have the most family support when the babies are born. Newborns are so much work and you will need all the help you can get. The weather won't matter because you will be homebound for the first month anyways. Plus, moving all of your baby stuff, traveling with 2 newborns and all your animals will be insanely stressful. Those are my 2 cents as a new parent, but obviously do what you feel is best for your family ❤
Max can be short for Maxton. Then it would be very parallel to Jetson.

Why not make it easier on yourself and be in sunny California?! Especially with twins! Driving on crap roads and shoveling snow and being cold sucks plus it’s more expensive with coats and boots and sweaters etc. x2. So much easier to just change a lightweight onesies after your kid spits up especially if you’re some place other than home. Super excited for them too 💕💕

I think it’s more so about their comfort levels and being able to fully function in weather they’re comfortable with, with two brand new babies in the house lol

I’m literally crying because I’m a twin myself and seeing this made me cry because today marks 6 months since I moved to another country far from my sister.
And as a twin, let them share until they don’t feel like it! My sister and I had daily deep talks, laughing and crying sessions and I miss that now (as a 22 year old) like crazy!

the thing with the embryos is if you and shane’s dominant is expressed for a specific trait for in this case; girls, or you don’t which is recessive genotype….just in case you wanted to know

Congratulations to both of you! As a NICU RN, please consider that twin pregnancies are inherently higher risk and there’s a pretty decent chance that the babies will need a NICU stay. Please make sure you deliver in a hospital that can handle high risk deliveries and has at least a level 3 (or level 4) NICU - just in case. Also, get car seats with a 4 pound minimum weight in case they happen to be a little smaller when they are born. Sending all the love and positive vibes for a healthy and happy pregnancy! 🥰
Yes! My son was premature and you don't want to be waiting to go home just because your car seat doesn't go low enough.

You guys will be amazing Dads... I think Maxwell is such a CUTE name, and it goes so well with Jetson! Little pro tip... I organized all the baby clothes in tubs labeled with the age, that way when they grow... you can pack up one set... and just pull out a new bin. Makes life so much easier.

So sorry to make the mood weird but I felt compelled to mention this just in case lol also prepare for the kitties too. There have been reports of cats sucking the milk out of infants mouths (like they can smell the milk and they mess with the babies mouths) and it can literally take the babies breath away and cause bad things for baby. So just something I wanted to mention cause if I don’t I’ll have crazy anxiety forever lol but I’m so excited for y’all! You guys are going to be the best parents, those babies are so lucky to have y’all! ❤️

This is such a milestone and I wish you both lots of love and pray that you have two wonderful boys who'll definitely have the most wonderful bunch of parents!
