Hey Ryland - the lump behind Shane’s ear is most likely a swollen lymph node. It’s no cause for concern. Lymph nodes are part of the immune system, and if your body is fighting off an infection or a cold, sometimes a lymph node will swell. The lymph nodes in my throat swell every time I get strep throat. The swelling should disappear within 2 weeks, if it doesn’t, that’s when Shane should check with a doctor. Anyways, Merry Christmas~
The Best of KingdomS swollen lymph nodes in an adult is big reason for concern, less of concern in children set educated. Also I have a lump behind my ear because Of irritation from my glasses.
Unless you are currently sick, please make sure that swollen lymph nodes are checked by a doctor if still swollen after a few weeks! Our son had to have surgery to remove his, as the doctor felt it was possible lymphoma cancer. *After his biopsy, all was well. But, it’s truly best to get checked out, rather than take a chance.
When I got mono a few years ago, one of the lymph nodes right under my ear was swollen so large, it looked like I had a golf ball under my skin, it was so scary looking hahah. I legit thought I had some crazy fast growing tumor or cyst or something

Hey Ryland - the lump behind Shane’s ear is most likely a swollen lymph node. It’s no cause for concern. Lymph nodes are part of the immune system, and if your body is fighting off an infection or a cold, sometimes a lymph node will swell. The lymph nodes in my throat swell every time I get strep throat.
The swelling should disappear within 2 weeks, if it doesn’t, that’s when Shane should check with a doctor. Anyways, Merry Christmas~
B same. I have eczema so my body is always acting like it’s fighting an infection. Swollen lymph nodes have become just normal.
The Best of KingdomS swollen lymph nodes in an adult is big reason for concern, less of concern in children set educated. Also I have a lump behind my ear because Of irritation from my glasses.
Unless you are currently sick, please make sure that swollen lymph nodes are checked by a doctor if still swollen after a few weeks!
Our son had to have surgery to remove his, as the doctor felt it was possible lymphoma cancer.
*After his biopsy, all was well. But, it’s truly best to get checked out, rather than take a chance.
When I got mono a few years ago, one of the lymph nodes right under my ear was swollen so large, it looked like I had a golf ball under my skin, it was so scary looking hahah. I legit thought I had some crazy fast growing tumor or cyst or something
