Joel Edgerton deserves so much praise for his performance in this season. Being able to convince an audience your two different people takes more than reading a script. Even when we cut between Jason’s their facial expressions, mannerisms, voice, pace of wording everything is different and genuinely makes you feel like it’s two different actors
Joel Egerton is an underrated actor in my opinion, his been great in a lot of things like Bright & Warrior. I agree he deserves recognition for this !!

The Jason 3 problem is the same as when Jason 1 travelled to a world where he tried to escape from Jason 2's world, but didn't make it out alive. Remember when Jason 1 thought of a world where they didn't escape, and when he opened a door, things played out almost the same as when they left Jason 2's world - with shots fired, but he saw himself get killed? The only difference between that world and the one they had recently left was the timing of their escape. Jason1 basically watched a different copy of Jason1 die in a copy of Jason2's world.
It's not just an infinite number of Jasons from his distant past, but an infinite number of Jasons from as little as 15 minutes ago. There are Jasons that figured out how to use the box to get back faster than others. There are Jasons that made the same choice, but a few minutes later than others. There are Jasons that opened a thousand different doors in the box from the moment Jason 1 escaped back into the box to try to get home. Each of those possibly infinite Jasons are all trying to get home.
Problem is, they aren't very different Jasons. They ALL think they're Jason1 trying to get back home to confront Jason2 who stole his life. But, they're not the same. They may only have up to a month or so of different memories since that's how long he's been gone. There may be many who will never make it back and many, many more who will eventually. That's a very big problem. There are infinite worlds, infinite copies of Jason1s world, infinite copies of Jason2s world, and Infinite Jason1s trying to get to the original Jason1 world.

So when I watched the whole episode with audio description on they refered to the 2nd Jason in the gun store as Jason 6. Jason 1 is the og Jason. Jason 2 obviously is the one who took over Jason 1's world. Jason 3 is the one with where Amanda got shot. Jason 4 is the one in pandemic world where he died. Jason 5 is the one where Jason 1 was standing next to bed with what they call Daniela 7 (the one where Max is alive) and Jason 6 is the one from the gun store.
We call him Jason 3 just for ease otherwise it gets really confusing as the others we've only seen for a short time... Plus surely he would be 7 or 8 as there's also murderer Jason who we didn't see but was mentioned and is mentioned in other realities too...m Plus they may just call him Jason 6 for filming purposes
There is also a Jason in jail...I wonder if Jason 2 framed him for a crime and left that Jason in jail.

I feel like it was pretty on the nose, especially since he gave her 2 ampules and not one.
There’s a scene just after Jason1 decided he’s not going to stay with Amanda. He’s sitting in the box and counting his 3 remaining ampoules. As the scene cuts, the “switching Jason” click is heard. But the scene that’s cut to is of (as far as we know) Jason1 standing in front of a a dilapidated version of his house in a different world. I think when he was sitting inside the box, pondering what to do, is the moment another Jason was created. One went on to another world. One went back to see Amanda again (or something idk, just, he didn’t leave immediately). Otherwise, why would we have heard the click? It’s only when we’re switching Jasons, not worlds, like you said.
In 2005 I dreamed I was returning from lunch at work in a mall and when I turned the corner to go upstairs I came face to face to another “me”. The other “me” said “no no no, you shouldn’t have seen me” and I woke up. I’ll never forget that dream. I was only 15 at the time and I remember it vividly. This shows is driving me crazy now with thoughts, especially because of that dream.

The reason there's a Jason 3 is because realities split with every decision (or event with multiple possibilities), and this continued to happen even *after* Jason 1 was kidnapped. So there are multiple Jasons all originating from the same reality and trying to get back to it.

@@lockekappa500 The theory of multiverse says,that every moment universes are splitting up infinitely .We are only observing one reality during the mainstory line,when there is infinte possible realities with Jason and Amanda having the drug and the box availablle.For example ,there is a reality where Jason 1 stays with Amanda in that beautiful universe but later decides to go back .
@@Elija389 I understand this. I'm simply stating that there is only one true Jason for this specific Amanda. So one of them is off a bit. Because if that Jason 1 that stayed with Amanda in that universe decided to go to a Daniella, it wouldn't be Jason 1's Daniella anymore. It would be a different one. If he fractures, then his whole reality has to also. At least that's how I understand it. I just don't think any of this works if 10 Jason's can belong to 1 Daniella. It's realities that are fracturing, not just the individuals.

RE: Max. He said "That girl is dead. I have her heart. I live and she doesn't". He definitely wouldn't say "that girl" if it was his own sister. I think we're still dealing with two sons. As soon as Max came down stairs, you'll notice a waterfall picture behind him with Jason, Daniela and both sons. It sounds like survivor's guilt. I think it was either someone he knew that died in an accident or a stranger he learned about after he got her heart. I knew he would pop up alive eventually. Why else mention it? Just like the nut allergy.
Yeah we did notice the image at the bottom of the stairs but clutchedto a theory of a sister - most likely wrong 😂
I agree, it was only a matter of time for when he turned up but we did expect a more in tune Max, maybe one who worked with Jason on another version of the box. I don't think that will be the last we will see a Max though.
@@Q-Dads I hope you are right about Max popping up again. That ending to EP4 was so sad, with the tree and all and then Jason leaving, knowing full-well that he may never see Max alive again.
I mean, Max literally says "No the other son" so pretty on the nose about whether there are two sons or if the girl was a sister.
@@lockekappa500 That would not necessarily exclude the existence of a sister in the past with that statement, though. The way he broke down suggested that it was possibly someone he knew. The waterfall picture in the background with both sons could have been taken before way after she died. In Jason 1's world it seemed like Max died during a surgery when he was a toddler, judging by the framed picture at the tree, etc. It's all conjecture though.
@@technauseated4208 I think it excludes that the sister was the twin, but yeah I guess it could still have been a sister.
So this is my prediction:
1. Like you I too believe that Jason 3 is from the world where Leighton killed Amanda
2. Amanda2 now has two ampoules. If she and Ryan1 have landed up in the same world, somehow they will cross paths and Amanda will bring back Ryan1 to the primary world and eventually be part of the final showdown
3. Jason1 may end up with Amanda (why else would they show the photo scene)
4. Jason 3 will stay back in the primary world with Daniela
Are points 3 & 4 through negotiation?? 😂
With point 1, do you think he is that Jason we saw when Amanda was killed or another Jason that forced that realities Amanda and Jason together, as they wouldn't be together without a Jason catalyst 🤔
@@Q-Dads confused 🫤 I think, when Leighton killed Amanda, that Jason gets into the box as a mean to escape, like they were planning to, but alone. And then learns his way around the box by himself and probably quicker since there’s no Amanda whose wishes were influencing the doors - that’s why he looked more disheveled like his nose wound is more prominent (could be totally my imagination)
Point 3 & 4, coz Jason 1 spent time with Amanda and had clearly got attached. They might draw sticks 😛
We definitely have 3 Jason’s…the only difference between 1 & 3 is the finger brace,they both have the scars on the bridge of the nose though…I think this 3rd one spawns from when Jason 1 told Amanda “I was thinking all types of dark things” when he met with the family with both kids.
WOW, I was underwhelmed by most episodes of this series, but the ending of this is MIND-BOGGLING. I didn't understand it until you broke it down, but now I'm convinced that this Jason 3 is another iteration of Jason 1 whose life was stolen. So technically, THIS IS HIS WORLD TOO. We already got a hint about this when we saw a version of events in which Amanda was killed - there was an iteration of Jason 1 whose path diverged at that point, and this could be him. But they also visited SO many other universes after that and any number of things could've happened to create other iterations of the same Jason whose life was stolen! Just imagine if there's an army of Jasons out there all fighting to get back to this ONE world that's not even big enough for 2 of them. How will Jason 1 even prove he's the OG, not Jason 3? I was already worried about how he'd prove Jason 2 was the imposter. Like one of those classic scenarios where you've got 2 dopplegangers and someone has to shoot one of them and each has to convince the person the other is the imposter. 🤣🤣🤣
As someone pointed out. There are infinite J1 from the point of being thrown in the box, as well as infinite J2 outcomes after he threw J1 in the box.
I think you have been watching a bunch of Jasons get back this whole time. There's potentially worlds where Jason and Amanda didn't make it back so there's others where they did. The sound cue, different ampoule amounts, disappearing field notebook is all the various Jason's we have been watching. I think there will be more of them acoming.
Jason 2 destroyed two Jason's lives....that just blew my mind. Jason 2 should just pursed his former girlfriend in his world vs destroying the other Jason's lives. She was still single and they were still friends...doing an art show with him being a theme proved she still cared about him. Jason 2 actions proved he was selfish when he dumped his girlfriend when he got her pregnant, but still selfish by destroying versions of himself, and if he doesn't like the life he stole, he walks away to take another version of himself's life. That makes sense why we see another Jason try to escape like Jason 1 did.
Yeah Jason 2 is selfish and 'evil' where as the new Jason we see could be another trying to get his world back, probably more good than bad ones. Don't forget about the Leightons floating around, I imagine more trouble than Jasons...
Not possible that Jason 2 destroyed two Jason's lives. Sure, maybe another version of Jason 2 did, but it's still not Jason 2 technically.
I have a good theory, original Jason did not visit his family because he knew Jaye had taken over his life and was with Amanda. The scene where Jason watches his family is the 3rd Jason, whose Amanda died. He didn't suspect Jaye had taken over his life, which is why he went straight to his family, explaining the gap before the gun shop visit.
People keep saying that Ryan and Amanda are in the same world. Some worlds have looked similar, but have proven to be completely different. How many times did Jason think he was back in his Chicago, from the look, only to find out it wasn't. So making a theory like that based on landscape and skyline could be a misassumption.
You're right, it could be an incorrect theory but for the purpose of TV and making a good watch, its likely to be the same 🤔

A third Jason ??? Me and my wife for sure thought that was Jason 2!!! SMH that's crazy. This season has been great!! Jason better burst into that house and kill evil Jason. Everyone pay attention to the finger snap sound effects. That means we are alternating between more than 3 Jason's. I’m convinced all these Jason Variants are like Kang 😂

There's a 3rd Jason, keep a close eye on their hands when they walk in into the gun store,one has a rope around the finger where his ring used to be (the other Jason took it from him before sending him to his world)the other (3rd)has a bandage on his finger, there's so much tiny details that people have not picked up on ,are we all watching the same show?
It’s the Jason from the perfect world. I’m thinking Jason2 had the idea of a perfect world so he decided to grab Jason3 but he figured that the world wasn’t so perfect for him. Jason3 is looking to stop Jason2 and stop the cycle.

After reading some of the comments pointing out not only infinite J1 worlds once he went into box, there are also infinite J2 worlds from that point on as well. This is timeline of infinite outcomes./ deviations….

So why would they refer to him as (only) Jason6 when the likelihood according to your theory is that they are at least 25 new Jasons (the number of times Jason1 has passed through the box), if not many many many more (depending on how many more times Jason2 has gone through, and we know it has to have been potentially more than 100 since he went through.an entire bag with 50 ampoules and even went back to his original world to get another couple of new bags)?
They refer to him as Jason 6 Purley because this is the 6th Jason we've seen on screen. But yeah there are an infinite number of Jasons floating around

There’s definitely 3 Jason’s, and I dare say it’s actually 4 Jasons. Jason Prime, Evil Jason, and two different Jasons in the gun shop. My only evidence is the straps on his bag. The Psi symbol, which is the symbol for the Wave Function in Quantum Mechanics. Only Jason 1 seems to have his straps in that configuration. Neither store Jason has it on his bag.
Interesting. I like this idea. It felt a bit out of character for prime Jason to be considering using a gun since he's quite non violent.

Jason 1 (original ) Had tied a string around his ring finger as evil Jason stole his ring.
There are at least six Jasons. We know from the visually impaired audio description, the second Jason in the gun shop is described as Jason 6.
It is very likely/serendipitous/story necessary that R1 is w our Amanda in same world.
The original Jason 1 has a string around his ring finger, this is the first jason that goes into the gun store at the end. The second Jason 2 already has a gun, and doesn't wear the backpack around. The second Jason entering the gun store is now a Jason 3, he has a wedding ring, and the backpack and was trying to buy a gun.
I believe its going to cause confusion with Jason one as he wont know which one was evil and taking his life away.
Rewatch the gun shop scene, there are parts where they purposely have him show his hand with the ring finger to try and indicate to us, which one is which.
Jason 1 had a bobble around his finger from his wife. I agree, that this will be confusing for him as he won't know which one is which and how will Charlie or Daniela cope with seeing Jason more than once at the same time and will they be able to trust any of them?
Neither Gun Store Jason is Jason1. Those are two new Jasons. Look at their backpacks. No Wave Function symbol made from the straps. Also, Jason1 has a black mark on his left thumb throughout the show. Knife & Mace Jason doesn’t have that when he grabs the bag from the Gun Clerk.
Jason 3 is the same as original Jason except... he went to a different world, before he came back to the world with his family.
Jason 3 is the same as Jason 1 but he got his own world his own Daniela two Jason’s can’t have one Daniela Jason 3 most likely ended up in Jason 1 world by mistake he still gots to get back to his actual world
I think Jason 1 and Jason 3 were the same person - they split at the point J1 was escaping with Amanda, so are both trying to get back to J1's world. J1 was travelling with Amanda until she stayed in Utopia-Chicago, and J3 was travelling alone, unseen by us. Both J1 and J3 made it back to OG World, and both went to the shop to try to get a gun (they were the same Jason in J1's world, so it makes sense they'd both go to the same shop). Both J1 and J3 are going to try to take out Evil Jason (i.e. Jason 2). Cue a big confrontation in the next episode, some shenanigans, etc. I think J1 and J3 will win against J2 - either killing him, or banishing him without ampoules to another world - which will then leave J1 and J3 - both essentially our original Jason - battling to be the Jason that stays in J1's World. A cute resolution could be that J1 - who had his time with Amanda and did clearly catch feelings - selflessly decides that J3 (who is truly alone) should stay in J1's World with his original family. J1 then uses the last ampoule to travel to Utopia Chicago to spend his life with Amanda.
'Jason 3' seems to be another Jason who has diverged from 'Jason 1' on the journey. He has the finger brace, so injured his finger somewhere. So, although he was at the point of abduction, and maybe further, the same Jason, they diverged when things happened differently for them shown by the injury to his 'pinkie'. So in a sense it's 'Jason 1a' and 'Jason 1b', or whatever designation you fancy. Neither are 'Jason 1' any more or less the 'original Jason', and they both have the same problem, had the same thing orginally happen to them, and if Jason 1 has returned to his correct universe, then it is as much Jason 3's universe as his. They both started here, but diverged into their paths afterwards.
All Jason's that show up from now on should, in theory, have the same scar on their nose. Each Jason broke off into a new world after they were kidnaped out of their own world, and Jason 1 got the scar when he was kidnaped. All new Jason's broke off from Jason 1 after they were kidnaped.

Great review and analysis! I think there’s going to be more 3 Jason’s and Ryan and Amanda are definitely in the same place. The aurora borealis is intentionally there to draw our attention.

I had a problem with not hearing the chime in this episode too. I also question if Jason 2 runs out to find jason1 ( if that’s who they are or close enough ) maybe to tell him ‘I give up please let’s switch back? ‘
That's a good shout, he will likely go back travelling and leave Jason 1 to fix all the problems he's caused... But let's not forget about the Leightons 🤔

We have been seeing how the box affects space. We also got a hint/foreshadowing at how the box affected time in Episode 4 when they watched Amanda got shot. I think in the near future, we will see the choice that separated broke finger good jason from other good jason.
I don't think time is affected just certain realities would be behind in their discovery of the box causing a delay but time itself would still be the same.
*Jason 2 looked so surprised he needed a type of licence to buy guns,* either he just wasnt aware or it's not his universe, it's Jason 3's universe, so our Jason 2 isn't home, he is in a very similar universe.

When Jason make his way out the broken concrete box, I was sure that he's back to his original world.
But after finishing the episode and seeing the third Jason, I'm in doubt. Can we be sure that it was his original world?
The slightest difference could be another world for example, a brand of chocolate could be the only difference in a world so we'll never know but I think it is for the purpose of the show

This Jason4 has likely built his own "box" already. With Amanda1's two ampules, Ryan1 could reproduce them using that world's advanced tech, like the cool passport Amanda got.
Very hard with a show this complex I found problems with this episode but man it hadn’t really occurred to me that we had already introduced more than the two main guys
We agree, we're questioning if this 3rd (or 6th) Jason has popped up before
The problem Jason2 has caused with his scheme is that other realities now exist where other Jason's attempted the same plan but with subtle differences. Some might have achieved the switch. Others might have failed. This Jason3 makes me wonder if the same family takeover has happened leaving him displaced and he now realises he is in the wrong reality trying to take back the wrong family or this Jason3 also has come to attempt a family takeover but has already been beaten to the goal by another Jason. I was also thinking of your theory on Jason3 being the one who eventually succeeded in escaping the Velocity Labs where Amanda got killed.
I think Holly was a heart donor for Max and he now lives on with the guilt of Holly having to die instead of him. Note Max mentioned that it was almost the anniversary of her passing. So where Jason's family commemorate Max's passing on Charlie's birthday, in this reality Max (and possibly family) commemorate Holly's passing but it is a trauma Max has been struggling to cope with. This tells us that Jason and Daniella might have agreed not to pursue a donor for their Max in the hopes of an eventual successful operation, thus sparing themselves of the guilt of having another families child die so their child could live.
Another Ryan gets screwed and he will either become a mental case when he comes round or Jason2 will try to coach him into taking over Ryan's life (the future he lost with an unfavourable coin toss). I do not think that will play out well as this Ryan3or4 has just been thrust into a new reality without preparation. Ryan and Amanda seem to be in the same reality so if they meet he should be able to figure what he was missing from his attempt on the compound and make more of the drug to travel home with Amanda's training on the box as we see it was the breakthrough both for her and Jason. Both Jason2 and Amanda2 navigating to this world shows how compatible they were.
I was suspecting we would see world1's detective Mason after Jason2 abandoned Ryan in the cold fusion world in the last episode. His disappearance was going to be noticed but it shows how easily Jason2 can be pushed into drastic measures without thinking through the repercussions. She could have been monitoring the warehouse without Jason2's knowledge. That doorstep conversation looks like it was setup just to give Jason2 enough information to see how he would react as she picked up on his deceptiveness in the earlier interview. She was satisfied Daniella was not the person to pursue further as they both had conflicted last accounts of Ryan wellbeing. Daniella did not seem to agree with the heavy drinking assessment but Jason2 has now abducted the right Ryan to fit.

At least tell them why you think they're wrong... I think they made some valid comments especially about Jason 2 being too impulsive and how we don't know enough about Mason.

I only think there’s the two main Jason’s. When he takes his buddy Ryan to the city he says he will take a picture and then Ryan charges at him and I think Jason 2 gets his finger shut it the door but I could be wrong

There's a shot in the trailer where we see two Jasons grabbing a beer and sitting across from each other at a bar.. Think that could be Jason Prime and Jason 3.. but then again Jason 3 or whoever this other Jason might be seemed a lil dressed down from the Jason 3 we see at the end of episode 7..

I know he wants to get back to his son - honestly if it wasn't for his son, he should've stayed because when he was with Amanda he was often like, Daniela who? It wasn't until Amanda stayed behind that he's really thinking about how much he loves his wife. Like dude, you were just looking like couple goals with another woman 5 minutes ago. 😂

I don't think so as the world is controlled by thought and emotion so you could mark a door but then still get an infinite number of worlds behind it
I was wondering was the Ryan Jason 2 brought back the same Ryan he left in the friend world.
The second Jason at the store it’s actually Jason 6 that’s why we didn’t hear a snap between scenes they all made it back and it was showing us different Jasons in different realities
With Jason 3 confirmed I'm still waiting for 4, 5, 6... sliding doors... with every decision a new reality is created. Maybe... maybe... we have not been back to Jason 1s world at all... but we have been to worlds that are indistinguishably similar, ie our sliding doors moment was using the box the first time and he just keep 'leaping' into the closest approximate world .. will we see more Jason's crossing paths and worlds converging when they start to travel with more focus.. I mean for the most part they seem to be focused on getting back to his wife... I have no idea...
Oh I am pretty sure there's a lot more Jasons coming and they are all copies of Jason 1

You may have said this, but is Jason 1 now in a perfectly identical world to his original world. Has Jason 3 returned to his world that now contains Jason 1 and Jason 4? The only way to differentiate 1, 2, and 3 is: 1 = rubber band wedding ring; 2= gold wedding ring; 3 = splint. Was Jason 3 wearing his wedding ring on his pinky finger when Jason 4 abducted him and took the ring?

i think jason 3 is a result of the choice jason 1 made in the aurora borealis world. there is a moment he seems to be considering to stay with amanda because he grew attached to her. we see him leaving, but that has created another universe where he stays. then i huess something happens and he goes back to his world. but now there are 2 very similar jasons there.
another possibility is what you mention in the video: jason 2 stole his reality, but then changed his mind - we've seen he say he could just leave and start over. and we know there are worlds whwere jason's life is even better. so maybe jason 3 has a life that is almost identical to jason 1 and he thinks that's his world when in fact it isn't. wow, this show is very confusing and fascinating!
All of that is complicated without throwing in multiple Leightons to the mix 🤣

Tbh i think Jason 2 has gone to other worlds and tried to take over those jasons but never worked so each time hes taken over a world there is another jason he drugged that is trying to find his way back. Jason 1 might not even be the Og jason just the jason that weve happened to be introduced to!
J2 has been telling his therapist that he wants to just leave. He may have been doing this before and had disrupted 2 Jason's their lives and both been trying to get back home. Maybe he took 1 to his world and the other to one just like it like when we saw J1 get out of box to see similar playouts where they got caught. I don't remember if both were killed. Or maybe we have 2 J2's that did same thing to 2 J1's and now 2 J1's in same place.
But did we see J3 in Amanda's new world? There is a moment when we see a J in lobby right before Amanda gets there but doesn't see him.
Yeah, I'm starting to think that alternate splits are created with decisions made in the box with choosing doors and every choice made in those alternate worlds... If that's the case, we're going to see many more Jasons and possibly other characters. In Ep5 Blair 2 showed them a video of another Blair coming through with the bugs. Of course, we saw the alternate versions of Jason and Amanda who didn't make it out as well before the snow world... That was a hint that the box is possibly becoming a copy machine.
Naturally, there's going to be multiple Jasons, Amandas, Ryans and Leightons all doing very similar things - I expect way more!
@@Q-Dads Yeah, and if you think about it, All of the new Jasons will most likely ALL be versions of Jason 1 from recent splits, every one of them is desperately trying to get their family back and are technically all the same person just with a different chain of events occurring recently. I'm guessing only one of them will get Daniela & Charlie back. The rest will not. Do they all have to fight to the death? I sense major moral dilemmas approaching, which will create even more branches. Jason2 unleashed a Pandora's box trying to play God.
Jason told Amanda at the dinner the were infinite version of him staying with her he just wasn't one of them.....

I think this episode proves J1 and J2 are more different, not similar. I think J2 told Amanda prime what he did because he is getting frustrated his system isn't working and is close to changing tactics like he did when he quit his job.
I thought they were going to find Ryan 1 there and all three of them go and get the other jason..

In theory there are infinite worlds , so there could be billion words almost identical but some differences...little ones ...little ones as in someone took coffee one day in other one tea, in another one water...in another one beer...you get the picture. In theory of infinite parallel universes as this, the chance that one person, even if they can, go back to the same universe is astronomically low...and high at the same time, because everything that can happen will happen in one of those universe. And yes in one of those there can be 1000 Jasons living there...

I think i know where the new jason might be from. Remember there is always a reality where something else happens? There was one where he didn't escape? Well what if that other jason is is evil jason still, but from the first episode when Jason 1 fought back? but in that reality, he succeeded in fighting back, and forced the evil jason to go back into the box? Then that evil jason was trying to again get back to that reality where he has a family? Very good show to make you think.

They refer to Jason 6 as '6' purely because that is the he 6th Jason we have seen on screen hence why the the one before in bed with Daniela was Jason 5. Those numbers do not represent the worlds. We just call this one 3 because it's the most prominent third Jason.

Oh, great, now I'm going to have to leave on the AD commentary every scene of every episode. Why? When Jason sneaks into the bedroom and spots his counterpart and this version of Daniela in bed, I assumed this was also this universe's version of Jason. But, no! The AD commentary states he is looking at "Daniela 7 and Jason 5."
Oh, snap. The natural assumption is that Jason 7 was still with Daniela 7. But, this is Jason FIVE. My theory is that Jason 6 and Jason 2 both pulled the same trick on Jason 1 and Jason 7, respectively (oh, god, this is confusing). Just as Jason 1 was swapped by Jason 2, Jason 7 was swapped by Jason 6.
It's just a matter of time before we have a "Council of Jasons" scene. And if you are fan of the Fantastic Four or Rick and Morty (and, admit it, some of you are), you will know what I'm talking about.

Sorry for the multi commenting but I don’t know anyone watching this and it’s maybe my top show of the year behind Shogun.
It’s occurred to me that ‘like a grain of sand on a beach’ means that you are always looking for a world that is really really close to yours, maybe everything can even seem the same but ….a cat down the road went left instead of right last week or something else that doesn’t effect you. I’m so enthralled with this show I want the book now. The characters are shockingly deep. Like how only Ryan or Jason can be successful. In Jason 2 world he’s a bit of a wimp and overweight and under developed. He hasn’t developed any serum yet and is still working on it. In world 1 he is highly successful and his best friend Jason is just a teacher. Jason two finds a third one who is a bartender and references one from yet another place that developed the serum for him? I may be mixing up my Ryan’s? Did he get it from chunky Ryan in world 2? The world where Daniella is now dead? He seemed spiteful and to have a tumultuous relationship with his best friends there.
That’s what I love the most about the show. The differences in character developed from different roads taken. It’s a wonderful deeper angle instead of just dazzling us like in episode 2-3.
Agreed. I think they possibilities are so so similar that yes, a cat walking over direction could be the only difference. There are always certain variables that must happen in a world like one of them creating the formula for the drug, Daniela painting or Max being sick etc - I agree great show and comment as much as you need to 🤣
