    Wasnt Joseph going to leave Mary QUIETLY. Meaning : without anyone knowing why; as to not to bring chaos upon her... And thats when an angel appeared to him etc ..

      Right in Joseph’s eyes he was trying in the only way he knew to do that right thing, so God had to tell Joseph to stay and that she was not unfaithful to him.

      I used to be there. Have hope that you can and will get out of it. It’s trying to fill a void that porn is incapable of filling, it’s a void that only Jesus can fill. He has to become bigger to you than porn. When Jesus becomes bigger and more beautiful to you than anything else, the desires for those other things will begin to fade away. It changes from “I know porn is bad so I don’t want to do it”, to, “I cannot even imagine grieving the heart of my Savior because of all He has done for me”. I used to be so addicted that I legitimately did not know how anyone could ever love me, or how I could ever get out. I’m overjoyed to say that I’ve been out of porn for probably close to 5 years now, am beautifully Married, and have a second child coming this Christmas. Go to war with porn by making Jesus infinitely bigger in your life that porn is now, and He can and will redeem all the things it has corrupted. Get accountability too. More people have struggled and overcome by the power of Jesus than you realize, don’t allow the enemy to trick you into believing you need to hide it and be ashamed, or do it on your own. Go to people you trust and are more mature than you in Christ and have them help you. Even if you will have to lay down any positions or serving in this season, being free from this is way more valuable. I’ll be praying for you.

      The day I realized I did NOT have to be better to be close to God, my 26 YEAR drug addiction was gone! Literally in an instant I did not want it anymore. You do not have to be better to be close to God. You need to be close to God to be better. Hand it to Him. He can handle it. He chose you, you did not choose Him. He says "You are mine" when He looks at you. Flaws, addictions and all.
      I pray you would see the heart of God for you. I pray He would fill you with so much love and power that you don't even want to look at porn.
      Go pray for someone. Go start doing the things He wants you to do. Keep your eyes focused on the kingdom and the wants of this world will pass away. You will see great things and be reborn. ❤🙏

      What i'd like to know is why is it suddenly a problem when Netflix produces/airs a totally unbiblical show about Mary, but it's totally ok for Dallas Jenkins to produce an unbiblical show about Jesus. Why does the goalposts keep moving with professing Christians? You'd think ppl would have a bigger problem with Dallas Jenkins.

    • @Maurcusj777
      @Maurcusj777 4 дні тому

      @theeternalsbeliever1779 why is it a double standard? Netflix has a proven track record of botching shows based on nearly every type of sorce material, while most of us have never heard of Dallas Jenkins before the show took off.
      As for the show being unbiblical, I don't have a problem, per se, with a show, including extra biblical things. The question is one of intent and respect. Why is the material included or changed, and do the makers have enough respect for the material.
      The show *may* be totally fine, I am merely judging the trailer based on its content in light of what I know about Netflix produced shows of the past. If it is good, then I will celebrate its existence.

And parts of the accent would definitely sound closer to Arabic than modern Hebrew which loses a lot of its Semitic sounds due to Ashkenazi influence on the language. A good example are the Yemenite Jews pronunciation of Hebrew which had little influence from Arabic itself and they preserved it all the way from second temple period. The mob scene would have never happened in reality, from what I can tell, because the idea of her "adultery" was hidden. It says Joseph was a righteous man and planned to put her away secretly (Matthew 1:19). That tells me that he wanted to avoid her going through court proceedings and receiving a stoning. Perhaps it's a combination of reading too much into things and not enough information, but I don't think that scene would've happened in reality.

    • @bbgun061

      Agreed. According to the old testament law, both the woman and man caught in adultery would be executed. With no other man, and no witnesses, Mary could not have been condemned.

      Pardon me, but “he/she and I” is technically the proper grammatical formula. You use “I” when you’re the subject of the sentence, and “me” when you are the object. Alternatively, “me and him/her” is also correct, but you would never say “I and your mother are going to the movies.” Because “the movies” is the subject. Similarly, “You are a blessing to your mother and I.” is correct because the grouping “Mother and I” is the subject of the sentence. While the you is the object.
      Hope this helps clear confusion! God bless.
