Take photos of passports etc, excellent idea. Leave your passport at condo/hotel. Depends if its sketchy. I'll put mine in my old trusty cargo shorts. They gotta rip that velcro to get it. Lol
Protected my phone at all costs but woke up one morning and it was broke. Found out I can't activate an American eSim on my new phone unless I am in America. Still cannot access my US phone number and now locked out of multiple accounts because of two factor authentication. Recommend not using eSim on your phone if traveling, only use PHYSICAL sim card for US phone number (can be easily swapped to new phone).
@@intuitivesean443 I would avoid any phone that is eSim only (like the US version of the iPhone 15). Make sure it takes at least one physical SIM card, or better would be dual SIM with (2) physical SIM cards. When leaving home, make sure you are using a physical SIM card and not an eSim, this will allow you to swap the SIM card to a new phone if your current phone breaks, because with eSim you will not be able to activate on new phone until you get home, and if you are using 2 factor authentication you may be locked out of your accounts.
Great advice again...will you create a video about how to receive a permanent resident visa (not a spousal visa) or interview someone who can help you do it and/or someone who has received it would be great. Thank you again for the videos

#8 leave you atm card in safe #7 always getting cash at every opportonity (atm) ok this might be a stupid question but how are you suppose to get cash out at every opportunity and not bring your atm card with you those 2 habits seem to contradict each other big time
It’s still confusing, do I keep my passport on my person and guard it with my life or hide it back at your hotel or find a safety deposit box at a bank or do some hotels have boxes?

Been going to AC on and off since my Navy days. This habit is for the stoners. Find a reliable source for the whacky tobaccy. Bartenders and Bargirls are a good source. Ask them if they know anyone while you are tipping them well. Just be discrete. There are also a few expats that have helped me out in that department. Head on a swivel, guys.

Very interesting that you don't have a cell phone, I use mine every day to get around (google maps, grab, whatsapp, airbnb, etc). Could not imagine going without.
@@chris84662 believe it or not i've never had one not even in the U.S i still had a land line my wife has a cell phone but she just uses it to go on fb i don't drive here so i don't need google maps but if i did decide to drive here there are other navigation devices one could get i'm the easiest person in public to spot i'm the only one not staring at a phone all the time, i use face book on my computer to talk to my friends and family back home and i book all my travel that way too.
I totally understand the passport part, but not the phone part. Sure it costs money and it is a bit annoying to lose your phone, but it is very quick and easy to fix. The most annoying part about it, is to lose your contact list if you don't have it secured in some cloud. I managed to drop my phone in very deep water while fishing in the Philippines to never see it again and I bought a new phone and got a sim card for it the next day. I then got a new sim card from my cell provider in my own country posted to me as well that arrived in a couple of weeks.
Where is your home country and who is providing your cell service? I am dealing with this issue now as an american, but I can't find an American company that will let me activate a new SIM overseas, they are saying I need to be on an American cell tower to activate a new SIM. So my only option is to have new SIM card activated by friend/family in states first, and then have them send it to me overseas (not an option because I am traveling a lot right now, would require me to stay put while waiting for package) OR wait until I get back to the states. Am open to hearing alternative options, or of companies that will allow me to activate an eSIM overseas.

I bought a I-13 so I can use a SIM card plus my regular card in my new phone?
