If everyone is "crying", then it's indeed a problem. If some streamer, UA-camr, or pro player "cries"', it can genuinely be a problem for the game. In this case, I think that changes or what players are asking for are not necessarily a bad thing.
Funny how the community demanded a new 2D game for almost 20 years and all we got were mediocre 3D games and now "only" a remaster. But it might be a start to a new 2D game in the near future

I thought they already addressed this in a prior video and said it was not happening? They have one programmer working on the game (the main team is working on a new title) so they said it was not possible.

It would be interesting to add rain to matches in future updates. I love the rain and the lightning with the sounds of thunder. I think the rain and lightning graphics would look really cool in the game!

Awesome! Almost every request i made got into the game! I miss one thing though: being able to click on the stockpile and sell goods from there (without having to click on the trader). Just like how it was in Crusader. Keep it up guys, will definitely pay those extra 6 bucks for the DLC :)
Been having a fantastic time with Stronghold DE! Playing through the campaign brought back so many good memories and the new quality of life features really help make it more enjoyable. Can't wait for the new economic campaign too and I will definitely be picking up the dlcs for the Pig and Wolf. Great job guys!

Having a blast with the game. Bought a copy for my gf too since she likes age of empires and sim management games like 2point hospital etc... Wasn't sure how she'd take to it, but she walked up to me this afternoon and said, "wood needed." Turns out she's been playing it while I'm at work and loves the game too. She's glad she gets to experience it since when the original came out she didn't play video games and totally missed it. Great job team! We're looking forward to what's next!
Do you plan on including different campaign maps based on which language version is being used again? And if you do, would there be an option to revert back to the map of England?

I have the idea that, should you give us a definite edition of stronghold crusader, that those who wish for a skirmish mode wuth european grafics and are in possession of both crusader and stronghold de should be able to switch grafics of units and everything if you know what i mean. Will there be a reworking of the complexity of the PvE of the wolf world? Now it is very difficult to play this mode even with a donation. After 2-3 weeks, the enemy demolishes the castle to zero with no chance for protection. 3. What will happen to the Russian voice acting of the characters in stronghold D? If you only knew how great it sounds in our language.

Common guys, I know you can implement Skirmish mode. The one mode everyone wants in this game. xd Adds a ton of replayability, casual fun and one can choose the difficulty 1 vs. 6, anyone? Have some courage, open the engine start a new script and start writing ;)
They have already addressed this in a prior video and said only a very small team is working on the DE. I don’t think it’s happening. I bet they’ll release Crusader DE though someday.
I came across the stronghold demo and not even knowing the history or being a fan, but appreciating the art style/aesthetic from my childhood, I gave it a go. I am so excited for this game. Really cant wait to pick it up. Im hooked on it. Good luck with the launch!

It's very nice to see RTS giants getting the love they deserve. Even though I am a casual player when it comes to Stronghold and more of a hardcore player od Blizzard RTS games i love that members of our RTS community in other games that make this genre so great are getting the love they deserve. Best of luck to Firefly and our RTS comrades from the Stronghold part of our community! Let's put RTS at the top again were it deserves to be.
one thing I always missed in the first stronghold was skirmish mode. Now you have a perfect time to add it into the DE. That would massively increase the longevity.
Hi there! Sadly skirmish mode was never part of our plans for DE. This is due to our small team size and the difficulty of backporting Crusader code to Stronghold. We've been clear about this during development in Q&As and dev diaries, although it is of course impossible for this message to reach absolutely everyone by launch. We priced DE accordingly, however if no skirmish mode is a deal breaker for you, you'll just have to wait for future games in the series :)
Quick question, the Steam page says that the New DE campaign will have us fighting the Rat and the Pig, but in the video at 5:40 sounds like the Pig is being saved for DLC? Are we fighting the Snake or the Pig in the new base campaign (alongside my favourite Rat)?
Typo - Thanks for pointing that out! The game launches with 14 missions in which you will face off against the Rat and Snake (as seen in our DE campaign trailer) - Our 2 DLC campaigns (7 missions each) will include the Pig and Wolf as antagonists

Skirmish mode is essential. Its the main reason why crusader is so much bigger. Do it Firefly, its gonna be worth it for you.

They have already addressed this in a prior video and said only a very small team is working on the DE. I don’t think it’s happening. I bet they’ll release Crusader DE though someday.

I came across the stronghold demo and not even knowing the history or being a fan, but appreciating the art style/aesthetic from my childhood, I gave it a go. I am so excited for this game. Really cant wait to pick it up. Im hooked on it. Good luck with the launch!

I would love to see additions from stronghold 2 that are connected to lord and castle life, like feasts, rats, dirt carrier, criminality etc.
That would be the dream - some sort of 2d stronghold 1 style game with all the best features from 2 in it
Looking forward to it! This is straight out of my childhood! Stronghold 1 was always the best one in my opinion, due to the campaign, missions, setting and voice acting.
I really want to see this succeed long term and re-energise the series!

It's very nice to see RTS giants getting the love they deserve. Even though I am a casual player when it comes to Stronghold and more of a hardcore player od Blizzard RTS games i love that members of our RTS community in other games that make this genre so great are getting the love they deserve. Best of luck to Firefly and our RTS comrades from the Stronghold part of our community! Let's put RTS at the top again were it deserves to be.

one thing I always missed in the first stronghold was skirmish mode. Now you have a perfect time to add it into the DE. That would massively increase the longevity.
Hi there! Sadly skirmish mode was never part of our plans for DE. This is due to our small team size and the difficulty of backporting Crusader code to Stronghold. We've been clear about this during development in Q&As and dev diaries, although it is of course impossible for this message to reach absolutely everyone by launch. We priced DE accordingly, however if no skirmish mode is a deal breaker for you, you'll just have to wait for future games in the series :)

Stronghold may not be the best RTS I ever played but designing castles was always something I loved about the game, amazing to see it's coming back!
Quick question, the Steam page says that the New DE campaign will have us fighting the Rat and the Pig, but in the video at 5:40 sounds like the Pig is being saved for DLC? Are we fighting the Snake or the Pig in the new base campaign (alongside my favourite Rat)?
Typo - Thanks for pointing that out! The game launches with 14 missions in which you will face off against the Rat and Snake (as seen in our DE campaign trailer) - Our 2 DLC campaigns (7 missions each) will include the Pig and Wolf as antagonists
