The idea behind being a ghost is haunting on it's own considering you can't interact with anyone else and even if you manifest in some way or motion through items, they might as well see you as a rageful spirit.
Reminds me of the scene from that one horror comedy movie where they just start ignoring the poltergeist and it throws a temper tantrum in response lmao

Yes, but perhaps even more ghosts constantly wish you the worst and scold you in such words that your ears can literally fall off from them, and your brain will liquefy. So it's good that we don't see or hear ghosts. Although, some people hear and even see them, but there are a minority of them

If ghosts were real, scientifically speaking since spirituality is a completely unproven concept, then we’d 100% be able to measure and moderate them with modern technology. We have all kinds of sensors that can measure and detect all kinds of things the human brain can’t see or hear. Seismic, cosmic, audio, audiovisual, etc we have a sensor that can pick up on it. Ghost do not exist. That is a fact I know with conviction. And this is coming from me, a Christian. Spirits, souls, gods etc they’re just entities which exist outside of our dimension of understanding and are completely incomprehensible to the human mind if they exist. We can only ever comprehend what exists in the 3rd dimension, we will never extend past that, and something like a ghost or any kind of spirit would be a 4th dimensional being by default at bare minimum. If they exist, you’ll never see one.
