75th Berlin Airlift Memorial, Wiesbaden - 15-16 June, 2024

Great memorial this weekend in Wiesbaden. If you get a chance to go on Sunday, go for it. The Candy Drop was so much fun for the kids and you could tell they had worked really hard on getting all those candy parachutes made.
The Berlin Airlift exhibit is inside and is huge!. This was the largest humanitarian effort ever undertaken, and it always amazes me what they did.
Most of the gates are closed to any traffice, so come in through the main gate. Bikes are perfect or take bus 28 from Mainz Kastel.
It is open to the public on Sunday, the 16th. Take cash for the food stands and if you want to buy t-shirts, hats, books, etc.
