When I was in the Bat I kept a wrist slingshot and a long 550 long corded one like the one you demonstrated. I was always hunting small game when in the field.A lot of rabbit snake a few birds, nutria, small pigs. We competed in the platoon who was better. Always kept carrots onions and rice. RLTW DE OPPRESSO LIBER
I believe it was Mors Kochanski who said, "The More You Know, The Less You Carry."
That explains why I carry quite a bit😆
That explains why I carry so much😆
The high quality information your videos contain in short packages never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for continuing to demonstrate and reinforce these techniques.
It is evident that being a survival instructor is your passion…
As a loyal follower on this channel, I would love to take your class in person…
It wouldn’t surprise me to hear that you have authoring a survival book in your plans… with lots of pictures…
If you do write a book I would buy it- and want it autographed 😊
See you next Sunday-
God bless you as you help us learn these skills…
🙏🏻😇🥰
Wow, Pathfinder struck gold in getting you to join them. Every single video is 100% education and no BS. Love it! Love that Crusader mug too. My canteen cup is one of my favorite pieces of gear, I don't think they even issue them anymore. The secret to using the very versatile poncho is to carry TWO of them! 🤣 Killer video, always.
He’s really the only one left who knows what he’s doing.
@@OPSTuT I'd love to know the inside story of why GB2 left, I love that guy. And the whole mess with Shawn Kelly, what the hell? Dave is moving on just fine though.
@@asmith7876i believe GB² has mentioned before that it was just a character issue between him and Dave; no ill will, just didnt click. Shawn is easy, he wants to be his own boss; but that puts him in direct competition with Dave and in his shadow following the same footprint as he persues the same path. I like Shawn, how i found Dave, but Shawn's own ego gets in his way🤷♂️.
@@jeremymoses7401 There is definitely a different vibe from GB2’s style of teaching, he’s so laid back. Love it!
Right
Man I literally just watched your older 5 and 10 c’s videos and thought “I wish Andrew would make a new one of these.”
If it comes to survival, this is one of the best channels on YT! Hands down, no BS...., just usefull things. Great! Best wishes from a former German soldier! 🇺🇸🤝🏻🇩🇪
shoutout to the beloved cat at 5:17
Right on Andrew, the fallkniven f1 is by far my favorite knife.
every single video is a pleasure and you can always learn something.
greetings from Germany 🤜🤛
My favorite survival instructor right here 💪 lead the way Ranger 🦅🇺🇲
4:15 Ahh , Mr. Bigglesworth , we meet again , Sir ! LOL !
😂
I can’t get enough of this! The Sheppards sling and trap are awesome, thanks Andrew for taking the time out do give us another outstanding video, I learn from all of these
I love the insect repellent, OUTSTANDING
Superior minds offer superior teaching. Thank you for a great upload.
And you hit a quarter mil subs. Congrats.
Once again, a lot of good skills presented perfectly. No nonsense and clear instructions crisply demonstrated. Andrew is the best in business.
That trap you built was so cool never Thout of making 1 like that , thank you for your Service to the great United States of America , and for sharing your knowledge with us ! To all our brothers and sisters in arms , God bless All !
As kids we used bailer twine and burlap to make slings . They hurt like a Massey Ferguson .
Hello 👋 Andrew, thank you for sharing another informative video. You always do a great job. Stay safe out there. 😊
So nice to watch videos like this and not have to listen to the constant whining about views, algorithms, and how UA-cam is screwing you and throttling your channel!!! 😭😭😭
Hi Andrew, greeting from Australia 🇦🇺, thank you for your time to make these.
Love that you've got the British water bottle and mug, greater capacity! US bottle and mug are great too!
I always learn something new, precise, concise, useful and to the point.
Great skills & techniques without any nonsense. It's refreshing to see your sere skills without the gear pushing that's typical of most channels. Thanks Andrew. 🇺🇸
All business and no bs! Thanks Andrew.
The sling is pretty cool, David used the sling on Goliath. Good to know how to make.
Really good video! Lots of fresh methods on implementing basic survival skills. I really like the shepherds sling 👍👍
Thanks Andrew!
Love the weaving a shepards sling!!! Plus the disclaimer (practice to get proficient)
Glad to see the channel growing. You deserve it! Keep it up
best bushcraft channel! greetings from germany
I just stumbled upon this channel, and it’s amazing!
Glad you enjoy it!
I though bro had a damn pet bobcat for a second there!! 😂😂😂😂
I've been subbed for awhile now and I must say, Andrew has s passion to teach.
He wants people to be able to survive under stressful situations.
He's the real deal!
While others show you how to build a treehouse over a long period of time,
then cry and moan to his audience wondering why viewership is down.
Who do you choose?
I appreciate that, thanks!
@@RangerSurvivalandFieldCraft 👍
Man, l love your vidios. Evan old stuff that I already know is exciting and new when you do it. Your amazing and I can only imagine what a face to face class would be like with all the back and forth banter that goes with real lfe in person interactions.
You just taught this old Ranger a few new tricks. I don't know why I never thought of using sticks like that with a canteen cup. Of course we never had fires. Never made char cloth that way either. The yarrow was new as well.
I like the two stick canteen carry, not seen that method used before; my luxury carry item is also the crusader heavy lid.
Cat Sneeze was epic!!!
Solid kitten.
Cool and interesting video! Thanks for the video and for sharing.
As an Appalachian farm kid we used to make slings out of baler twine . My grandfather actually taught me how . They are pretty effective if you practice and learn the release point well . Great video !!❤❤
Another great video Major Andrew 👍🇺🇸
Great information, Major. Thank You
As usual Andrew awesome video keep up the good work😊😊😊😊
you ceased to amaze me Andrew, outstanding video I love the sling
Outstanding 👍
I really liked the poncho water collecting and the 2 stick nesting cup grab tips! Thank you!
Forgot to say, I am a fellow Vet if that means anything! I always wanted the Brit canteen cup system but never got around to buying one and now like everything they want an arm and a leg to buy one, so I appreciate your help! Your video here motivated me again to get one.😊
Thanks for this video it have alot if advise that we all need to know. We need to know how to suvive in the Jungle.
Another good video. Keep up the awesome work
Nice knife 🔪 and great work
Good kit Andrew thanks for sharing YAH bless !
6th C's over here! 7:26 🐾😺🐈⬛
Great training
upside down poncho to fill up every container i have during a rainstorm. nice.
Great job ....... Congratulations .
Cheers major, I always makes notes from these videos. Yarrow stalks were used by the Chinese Daoists, to forecast the future( I Jing). I wanted to attend the class up in Ohio, but the tumor in my head is refusing to take a year or two off. But after 14 years, I refuse to throw in the towel. Cheers major.🤙
Great video!
I will definitely be taking a kit like this on my remote off-road motorcycle trips.
Great solutions for potential real-world problems.
Well done! Thank you
I really enjoy and learn from every video you post. Please keep them coming. Hooah! Rangers lead the way!
Awesome!! Thank you for all you do, Andrew!
You should sell those slings! I'd buy 3 right now!
Great job brother. Keep em coming!! Semper Fi
Yarrow is good tea too!

Awesome!
Another great one. Look forward to the videos. Keep them coming.
Best wishes fron the UK 👍
Great video Major, as usual. I particularly like the addition of Yarrow and what you can do with it. It would be good if you added other plants in future videos. Thanks!
Ty
Nice!
Outstanding instruction sir!
Excellent as always! As an outdoorsman, I'm very happy to learn new skills from you!
Great info Col.
Zahn, getting some air time with Andrew. Another great video
He thought I’d be making him breakfast!
Great video buddy
I liked that roll. Good stuff
Awesome intel as always!!
I love your videos, and I wish I had the opportunity to attend one of your classes. Thank you for putting out these amazing videos.
La mejor herramienta son los conocimientos adquiridos, experiencia, y con éstos cinco elementos que presentas ya tienes más que suficiente.
Menos es más!👏👏👏💪
Me encanta!!
Gracias!😃👏👏
Agradecido por tus videos.
AS ALWAYS GREAT CONTENT , INFO , & DEMONSTRATIONS !!
Another great video. Thanks
Too bad Heavy Cover doesn't make that canteen cup lid anymore.
A bigger knife, a real lighter, a roll of bankline, a single wall stainless steel wide mouth water bottle, a mylar lined rescue blanket with grommets... obviously you can still get it done as you excellently demonstrated, it's just to show military issue is far from the best available as a lot if new people tend to think.😢
This was actually a 6 C's video:
1. Cutting tool
2. Cordage
3. Container
4. Combustion
5. Cover
6. Cat
Спасибо!
Brits have an excellent canteen made by Osprey, the BCB crusader cup is great too
Excellent content. Many thanks.
Thank you
Top video Andrew, nice to see somebody using bungees! Loving that sling too, going to try one of these soon, cheers again for the endless info 😎
Andrew, another great video, ty
Sir you are amazing and love your skils .......keep it up and upload more videos!
The more you know, the less you have to carry, but by the same token - the less you carry the more you have to build 😜
David and Goliath sling is a time tested weapon
Andrew, great video and info!!!!!!!!!!
Good stuff as always.
Great use of the 5cs!
Another great video 📹 Andrew!! Keep up the awesome work 👌
I take it that's Zahn the cat.
That a British canteen and cup, them are nice. Double click on the like button.
Bro, did you just whip out a bowline knot within milliseconds? 👀😱 That was super rad and simplified the whole process just like that. Man, that was the slickest I've ever seen anyone tie one! 🙌
Keep up the epic content, love your stuff, and looking forward to the next vid. Keep it up Andrew, love the channel 🔥
