Weavers Birds, also known as weavers, are small finch like birds that are most popularly known for their unique nest-building design. Using grass stems and other plants around them, Weaver Birds nests are notorious for looking complexly made and resemble a hanging woven chamber.
Most Weaver Birds place their nests at least 10 feet above ground and are usually found in acacia trees in the lowland rain forests of central Africa. These trees often hold 100 or more nests housing hundreds of Weaver Birds inside.
