Best way to rig a spare ditch bilge pump for boat emergencies

How to set up a spare bilge pump for use in boating emergencies. Wiring and setup for the ditch bilge to use incase a bilge pump fails while taking on water.

You could use a dive weight and zip ties as well...

Agreed - we had the bars around from a different project so they got used. But five weights would probably lay better
