    Great vid and thank you. Mineral Spirits is my favorite go-to organic solvent for cleanup. Acetone and Mineral Spirits sit side by side on my shelf, and they both have great useful needs.

    Where I am the first time of high pressure is the bite time. 1020 fish aplenty. After it's been high for a while the fish are full.

    You're right - there's no other videos that demonstrate this procedure! Thanks much for making this good quality "how to" video! Really answered a LOT of questions for me, especially as to whether it is permissible to cut down an over-long scupper cylinder. So grateful for this!!!

    Great video, very useful. Thank you. Will you please describe how you bolted the wood to the steel? What type of bolts, stainless? did you countersink the heads? Through the flange I guess, right? How many bolts? Appreciate it!

    • @landersfishing6021
      @landersfishing6021 Рік тому

      Countersunk stainless bolts through the wood and through the aluminum I beam. I placed a piece of thick rubber mat (horse stall mat) between the board and the I-beam, this is to keep the wood from ever actually contacting the aluminum as treated wood has metals in it that will cause aluminum to corrode. Stainless and aluminum (bolts) can touch as they are compatible but the copper in the treated wood will corrode aluminum

      29.92 inches of Mercury is 14.7 psi…aviation and lots of navigation/weather equipment use inches of Mercury, some use millibars, some use psi. It’s all just different systems…like inches vs cm

    Great video but I’m not clear on why you wanted to replace the scuppers to begin with

    • @landersfishing6021
      @landersfishing6021 2 роки тому

      Thanks, they have a little rubber flap on the end that allows water out but stops it from coming back in. Eventually that flap wears out and water splashes back in while it’s trying to drain, now it just plugs the hole until the scupper rolls above the water line (in rough seas) and the splash well continues to drain.
