I have a Staccato XC and a Wilson Combat double stack 2011 both chambered in 9 mm. I also have FN, Walther, Sig, Beretta, CZ and Taurus handguns. The XC is all that was described in this video, an amazing handgun. I will say the Wilson Combat gun is just as good. I shoot the XC a little better because it has a red dot whereas the Wilson Combat has iron sights. The XC has a 2 lb trigger and the Wilson Combat has a 3 lb trigger. At 7 yds both guns have very similar scatter. I would recommend either of these handguns
I have 2 Staccato p duo.s i had the chunk port mod done to one of my P ,really made a difference an lot cheaper than an XC. Shoots very accurate an flat.
That's awesome
Nice comparison video and final thoughts. Hard to go wrong with either.
Right on
🔥🔥🔥
Island barrels are so dope id take stacato p more reliable and when you do shoot the berrle out you have to send gun in so they fit a barrel in and if you want threaded barrel than get it when you buy the gun and have both barrles fitted .
Good advise.
I have a P I carry on duty and a c2 for off. Been wanting to pick up an XC for duty (4 lb trigger). I just haven’t convinced myself the port makes a 2k difference in performance. My P is pretty flat using a 16lb recoil spring and 20lb mainspring recommend by chambers custom.
You should at a min find one that you can shoot before you buy. The P is a great firearm but there is a noticeable difference with the XC.
Top of the range guns, equally top of the range skills shooting them both 💪🏼🇺🇸
No hearing protection?
There is hearing protection in. I am nearly deaf and my hearing aids block harmful decibels, but thank you for your concern.
Great video. I really wanted a Nighthawk TRS Comp, but because of the veteran's discount I picked up an XC.
I have had it about 2 months, and now my wife and I have a safe full of pistols we no longer want to shoot, and some of them are really expensive and/or tricked out.
The XC just makes you shoot fast and accurate, and it just makes everything else we own feel like trash, except for our 1911s, and the TRR8. The hype is real.
Now we want Ps for our nightstands and C2s for carry. My wife also wants to get an XL to start competing with.
Unfortunately, we also run dots and lights on everything, so this is going to be an expensive year for us.
This is awesome! Good for you both, and we hope that you enjoyed the video.
Would you carry the XC occasionally?
@@lrowe70 we carry appendix, so I feel it is way too big to carry. The fat grip, magwell, and comp, especially with a delta point and x300 make it less than ideal. Even outside the waistband it is big. We have drop leg holsters for it, which seem to suit it best. I don't walk around with one of those though.
@@lrowe70 it is best suited for a drop leg holster. Too big for IWB in my opinion.
@@vinnysob6380 Thanks!
Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you too
' which is really nice'
Both are great, depends on what your needs are.
are the raised sights of the DUO annoying or inconvenient in the event you chose not to use a red dot? And how does the P compare to the XL in terms of recoil?
I have not seen an issue with the raised sights. The firearms point very naturally. The P of course has more felt recoil over the XL due to the mass of the longer slide and frame, however still very controllable and fast.
What grip style do you like better?
Honestly both are great.... but if I had to choose I would go with the G2.
Was checking your website and can't find any staccato.
Staccato is only offered currently in store. We are working on making them available online soon. Thank you.
if you buy this pistol you aint worried about ammo....
The solution for most is get the threaded barrel with a compensator for the P.
Warranty would be the issue
@@magnumsportsmi if ordered during purchase isn’t the threaded barrel and comp also covered by the warranty?
CZ Shadow is a good comparison
sure would be
What about hearing protection ?
I was also wondering about that? 😂
There is hearing protection in. I am nearly deaf and my hearing aids block harmful decibels, but thank you for your concern.
@@magnumsportsmi Why do people feel the need to say stupid things like that? Your ear pro is clearly visible in the video....Its like the one guy in the office when you grab your lunch and they say " hey, wheres mine?" or "Did you bring enough for everyone?"....
What ear plugs are those?
hearing aids lol
Let me think 5000$ for sti or $500 for glock? So difficult
Stop in and get your hands on one.... you never know until you know.
BUY A CANIK
They aren’t even remotely comparable. High end gun compared to cheap plastic with a horrible trigger.
I bet you think a camry is comparable to a lambo as well
Yeah, the STI is a no-brainer
Far better than a glock well ill tell you i sold my staccato and i still have 2 glock 19s both of my glocks ive put about 1,500 extra into them so im not rocking just stock the thing about glocks is that you can work them to be such killer guns .
I love Glocks!!!
Great video. Any downside to occasionally carrying the XC if you don’t mind the size?
Not at all
2.5lbs trigger maybe your only consideration.
@@magnumsportsmi thanks!
